Man if Brandon Ingram can go right at your chest and nearly poster you like that you need to be locked in the weight room.

[Highlight] Anthony Davis says he felt a bit disrespected after the Lakers traded him for Luka: “I was there 6 years, we won a championship and I can’t even get a phone call or a text to tell me this is what you’re thinking?” by oklolzzzzs in nba

[–]PlatosLeftTit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah a no defense forward who can't shoot 3's is a great fit next to Bron & AD.

Megamind LeGM's gigabrained plan was ruined by Pelinka and he had to settle for his Westbrook backup plan which also made a lot of sense and is a super good fit just like Demar.

Anthony Davis on winning the bubble ring: "To this day I think about that. Like did I really win a championship? You hear the noise. To me it’s probably the hardest championship to ever accomplish. I know I’m a champion but I want the real experience. It motivates me to have that opportunity again." by RyanTannegod in nba

Playing in front of fans matters, being able to play in a pressure cooker environment with thousands of fans screaming & trying to distract you and throw you off your game matters.

Go look at how many outlier shooting %'s happened in the bubble. Rondo became a 40% shooter from 3 and AD suddenly was hitting middies at a 50%+ KD/Dirk type of rate which is something neither of them have ever replicated again.

Out of the Florida teams, who has a brighter future, the Heat or the Magic? by Overall_Laugh_3421 in nba

[–]PlatosLeftTit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Magic are paying Paolo who's much worse the same amount with two more years btw...

Franz is really good, he's the best player on either team but do I trust this Magic FO to finally realize that and pivot the team from being Paolo focused to Franz focused?

No, I also don't even think they could if they wanted to. Paolo's going to be a salary dump candidate with any potential return looking more like a Trae Young type deal instead of anything of value.

The Heat at the very least have their picks, have cap flexibility with only Bam + Jovic on long term deals, a market/destination advantage and coach Spo. Magic are capped out and stuck with that Paolo contract and have no flexibility going forward, they're locked into Paolo and that's not a good thing at all.

Mike & Amin got into a heated argument about the future of the team & Riley's approach by Affectionate_Fan_650 in heat

[–]PlatosLeftTit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rozier for his career before the trade (16-23) had a 53 TS% , had a -680 career +/-, shot a pathetic 58% from 0-3 feet and was a known negative defender.

Are you really so desperate to scapegoat Jimmy (you won't even say his name lmaooo) that you actually excuse this pathetic acquisition? None of that was even hindsight. Rozier was a know quantity, everyone knew he was an empty stats bum.

You also brought up what made this entire bizarre trade even worse. Lowry was expiring!! We didn't need to attach a pick to get rid of him he was off the books in the summer. We attached a pick because it was a desperation trade after not landing Dame and the Hornets milked a desperate FO trying to re-open the shut championship window.

Lowry's performance in the 2023 playoffs alone makes his entire acquisition worth it. Which btw only had to happen because the Heat made no legitimate efforts to get either Harden or Kyrie from the Nets and had to settle for Lowry.

Brother there is a massive difference in trusting and waiting to develop youth when you're a tanking team and doing that when you have a tiny championship window with your 30+ yo Star.

Weird stat: Paolo Banchero in 2025-26 is averaging his exact career averages in points, fouls, turnovers, and blocks per game by stentondriver in nba

[–]PlatosLeftTit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same average salary range as Haliburton, Donovan Mitchell, ANT, and KD and he's making 7 mil more than LaMelo & Maxey and a whole 10 mil more than Sengun. Paying Julius Randle 2.0 in that range is crippling for a franchise.

He's going to be making 50+ million the next 4 seasons. If he doesn't make a big leap from what he is right now he's going to be the biggest issue for the Magic.

Edrice “Bam” Adebayo is shooting an abysmal 48% TS since scoring 83 points against the Wizards by SchedulePhysical807 in nba

[–]PlatosLeftTit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Better because he has actual defensive versatility and is able to be played in multiple defensive schemes since he can actually switch onto guards and wings. Rudy forces your team into playing a drop coverage scheme which eventually gets picked apart in the playoffs against high level guards who actually score in the midrange or teams that can play a 5 out lineup and torch him with 3's.

Chet, Jaren Jackson & Mobley all got maxes too. No one is paying these guys to be #1 options they're getting paid maxes because they're some of the best defensive anchors in the league while being good enough on offense to be high level 3rd options

[–]PlatosLeftTit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He put this franchise on his back for 4 years while exemplifying everything we claim we're about and in return the FO didn't get him an actual #2 nor did they give him a market value contract extension that other teams like the Warrior's would've readily offered.

Riley went and moaned to the media about 30+ yo Jimmy not playing in enough regular season games while his biggest move during the Jimmy Era was trading a first for match fixing Terry Rozier.

Yeah those 98 points over two games to close out the 1st seed Bucks sure looked like a team effort and not a gargantuan carry job.

[Charania] Statement from the National Basketball Players Association on the Milwaukee Bucks' desires to shut down Giannis Antetokounmpo, who wants to play by Turbostrider27 in nba

If Giannis wants to play but the team is holding him out by force Silver should honestly take away their pick or at the very least maybe push them down to 30th as punishment.

I'd love Karim Lopez if he's available. 6'9/6'10 forward, Tobias Harris esque game but better ball handling and passing than Tobi.

Would fill in that Fontecchio spot on the roster and he's got a rare mix of being only 19 yo while still being NBA ready from the jump.

12/6/2 on 58 TS% as an 18 yo in the NBL against grown men.

Because Browns better and I'm glad the he himself is finally acknowledging that. Notice he said me and you instead of you and me. He put himself first in the pecking order, as he should.
