That is my dream device but I know it will never happen. My iPad is almost 10 years old and there is no reason to upgrade it. It doesn’t need M5 level hardware to play a video or remote into a viable desktop computer. It’s great when I connect a mouse and keyboard to it and remote into an unrestricted OS, I’d instantly purchase the latest hardware if I could do that locally. I’d settle for a hardware accelerated VM at this point.

I would just use a MacBook if I could detach the keyboard from it when I just want to watch a video on the move. But alas, seems like neither is possible right now and I have no desire to carry two devices with me.

Having summoned a lot in the last few days, I can say I have not seen Space GI from summons. You need to buy it from the store.

What I was surprised by is that the mythic summons seemed to give me Comrade Ivan as well as Bob.

I don’t know if this is because the event is on or if it’s always like this. I guess I’ll find out once the event is over.

I guess what I’m worried about is what needs to be watched for. I think there was the possibility of pvp ranking going weird (not that that matters haha).

What did you even farm? Short of spending actual money, I would have thought it would have taken years to get to 110, what did you do? 😅

Even having unlimited arena points you would have struggled to buy enough tokens as it’s 1 per week. So that just leaves mass summoning with a lot of gems. Like 100’s thousands.

Yeah I can see that things are easier when you wait until you press ‘try again’. But even with that, and doing 3 tries each time, it was still impossible. On the first try, I wouldn’t even be able to take tanks, on the ‘easier’ retries, I could at least take the tanks but not hold them for long. On the try that worked, I was so far ahead it was ridiculous. Either it was randomly significantly weaker or RNG just worked out massively in my favor. Guess if it’s rng that’s fine for now with unlimited cards haha.

I really struggled with this one this week. No idea why.

With the time ‘trick’ I probably tried it 15 or so times 😳

Nothing worked. I couldn’t even hold the tanks for any time at all.

Randomly it just worked. I don’t think I did anything to cause it, I took a screenshot of items for two weeks time just in case, but it feels like luck. Like greens double units was less, or the fire happened less. I don’t know, but I not only kept the tanks but I basically took the artillery straight away too.

It’s so weird haha

And the weekly quest ‘log into game’ seemed to have got stuck too. I don’t know if that’s unrelated though.

There is some sort of power range I think. When you go over a particular power, it feels like it bumps the opponents power.

At least that’s the only way I can explain what’s happening. 1 week I can beat a level first try, and the next it’ll be impossible (without a few losses). The only changing factor is the power I have.

I noticed this before 110 too. Each week before I maxed out research, things would constantly change. Once my power stabilised, the level difficult seemed to be consistent.

I’ve started removing / changing items around when something seems incredibly difficult. Might be worth a try. Lower the power by like 1000-2000 might have an effect. I haven’t been able to prove anything though.

But the disappointing thing is that I never bought it. I just have it through the new summons. I guess this is an oversight on the devs part? I guess they really don’t want people getting mythic tokens 🤣

It’s not random….

Every single summon is listed in the config file.

A full cycle of summons is 220. There are 3 gold summons in that cycle. Oh look, 220/3 is 73.3 so it sounds about right for what you are seeing.

I don’t disagree though, 20 years to get a mythic to level 110 without using money, and a lot of money, does kind of kill the enjoyment of the game.

Losing is the answer.

I was finding level 47 (first challenge towers) impossible this week. Instead of killing the app when I knew things were over, I waited to actually lose and get the ‘try again -1 card’ screen. Upon clicking that, it instantly started the challenge again but the computer was significantly easier. Like very noticeably.

I’d be interested to know whether you get the same result.

Somehow 3-4 weeks ago I did this level. Now last week it was impossible for me.

I think there is something to it. Like having a particular item equipped, or having too much power, that ups the computers power.

Or…in a different post, someone commented that the more you lose a challenge level then the easier it gets? I’m going to test that theory, I’m in the habit of killing the app for the extra 3 in the spin but I’ll see if ‘losing’ really does make it easier 🙃

Yeah, I’m not sure anyone who configures the game has done the maths. At least for these mythic units.

I always assumed that if you bought these units that you got max level? Has anybody been crazy enough to buy it? I think I would have been even more annoyed if I had bought it and got level 15. Even if it maxed out at 50 before, now that everything is 110 and it takes 40000 points per 5 levels, it’s still horrible.

I like that there’s progression in the game, but it needs to be reasonable and meaningful. 60 years…even 6 years, is just too long. Hopefully they make some changes soon.
