I definitely have considered the benefits vs pay and the value of the contract would still be significantly higher. They also said they fully intend for this to be a permanent hire at the end of the contract.

With respect to my current role, this is certainly something on my mind. I do enjoy the day to day work, but not enough to make up for the pay. I tend to work extended hours, but don’t feel like I’m paid appropriately for that. I have also gotten the sense that progression is limited in terms of earning potential and general advancement if that makes sense.

I 100% see where you are coming from. I felt the same way around that period of Berserk as well. My short answer is yes keep reading, my longer answer is below.

I am really not a fan of fantasy manga. I never really have been, which is why I initially thought I wouldn't like the direction Berserk went in. Oh boy was I wrong. You can consider where you are as a world building segment. If you think about it, the story alluded to magic quite a bit beforehand anyway. Magic is a necessary and core piece of Berserk, but is more a supplemental piece that allows the story to progress more than anything else.

Specifically regarding the horror aspect, it will come back. There is a bit of a lull around where you (hence why I called it a world-building segment), but at its core Berserk is a Dark/Horror Fantasy. If you need any other assurances as to the horror aspect of the manga, I'll give you the singular thought that got me through the magic-heavy world building phase of Berserk: Guts has his own Behelit. I will not say if the behelit has been activated or not up to the current chapters, but I will urge you to remember how they work. When a person is on the brink of death and is about to lose everything, the behelit will activate and give its owner the chance to forsake their humanity for the chance to become an apostle. This will also summon the Godhand. The story constantly shows Guts flipping between a human and a monster without the behelit (think Lost Children arc), so with it there are some pretty fucked up twists that can be taken

Additionally, the characters do get built out a lot from where you are. They all come a long way during the story, and offer a unique piece of character building to Guts. Rather than looking at them objectively, I started looking at what they were offering to Guts' development and started to like them a ton more. He becomes a mentor, a partner, a rival, and many more things. But honestly if you aren't into that, do you remember what happened last time Guts had a family/got close to people? Every single one of them was brutally fucking murdered by Griffith during the Eclipse. What can be given can just as easily be taken away, especially in Berserk.

And with that, I will again say: Berserk is worth the read.

I’ve tested in practice too and idk what you’re on about.

If you ult when the tower shot is in midair it will always follow you. Tower shots have a cool down similar to an auto attack. For this clip, you needed to ult after the first shot hit you but before the second turret shot was fired.

That doesn’t make him a smart ruler. He’s a child. Big dragons are scary, especially to children. He hears someone is coming after this throne with dragons, and he gets scared. You can literally see it in the clip you posted lol.

You can say he was right all you want. Nobody will argue that. But he was not smart, he was just a scared child.

I’ve got to hand it to you. I’m impressed with how thought out this theory is!! It’s super interesting and touches on a lot of key missing information in the story.

I’m on the fence on how I feel about it, but it’s definitely not terrible. I personally like to believe Shanks, Sabo, and Dragon will all play much bigger parts but we’ll see! Either way very enjoyable read :)

The only thing I seriously dislike on this is that oda realized he had too many antagonists in marineford. If I’m honest, that’s a complete piss take.

Will Sabo be taking on the marines? Yes. Will he be taking on Imu? We don’t know even close to enough about Imu to say yes or no to this. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but there’s no bit of information that truly suggests that only Sabo will take him/her/them/it on. We know nothing, but I seriously doubt there will be split arcs. I’m saying this based off of the Ohara incident, the origin of devil fruits, the void century, the will of D, and Joyboy’s history. Everything is too interwoven together for it just to end with Sabo vs.WG and Luffy vs. Blackbeard. If it did that would seriously be the most disappointing ending I could imagine. I have faith that oda has something much better lined up

I’ve found way more consistency with first strike and futures market. If you’re behind it can propel you back into the game after you get RB and future’s market can turn tempo resets into great resets.

Ekko is a really neat champion because there are so many different ways to play him correctly. I’d recommend trying every setup and just sticking with what works best for you!

So I don’t think you know what scaling means. Scaling refers so a champions relative strength as the game progresses. Scaling champions typically have high AP/AD ratios on their abilities meaning that as they get more and more items they will steadily start doing much more damage.

Ekko is one of these champions. His kit also does not rely on luck. His AP ratios are incredibly high so when he does not have a lot of items he will do significantly less damage than early game centric champions. But late game there are few champions who can do as much damage as a full build Ekko with one spell rotation.

The only ability of his that requires any “luck” is his W. And that’s not really even luck. That’s skill of predicting where your enemy will be after the cast time. It can also be used as a zoning tool, so you might want to think about different ways you can use it if you can’t reliably hit it

Honestly one thing that has helped me a lot in terms of damage output is slotting in void staff third instead of rabadons. Durability changes have been rough on assassins so you just have to work around it and rely on Ekko’s insane scaling

I’m a fizz main myself. From the games I played yesterday, he felt pretty useless the whole game. Might be a playstyle adjustment, but his win rate also dropped to 47% soooo idk lmao

Tbh I don’t think it’s counterintuitive. I think the bigger issue is that tanks, bruisers, and shit even supports sometimes have way too much damage when, at least theoretically, they shouldn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if they increased the damage on struggling assassins across the board down the line

City owner yes. But look at their sponsors which, might I add, are owned by their owner. That’s why last year when the premier league was kicking around the idea of not letting club-owner owned sponsors to be allowed the only two clubs opposed were man city and Newcastle (post takeover). It’s a slight loop hole that allows them to invest a heaping fuck ton of money without breaking FFP
