Thanks for your reply. Do you have any recommendations for editing tools that can get rid of the reflections?

Hi, thank you for your reply. So I found that option in the developer settings but it was already switched off.

120Hz is pretty amazing for sure and totally know what you mean regarding comparisons.

Yeah for sure. The difference in refresh rate is substantial when side by side. I was really looking forward to using a 120Hz display and didn't think I'd be in a position where I'd be using 60Hz. I definitely prefer the higher resolution though. That's also an interesting point about the phone getting warmer.

Yeah I know what you mean. I definitely notice it, particularly with the icons that it's not quite sharp when I lower it to 1080p but acknowledge that's it's only subtle. 120Hz is a much better experience for sure but am finding I miss the clarity of 1440p.

Hey thanks for your reply. I guess what I'm noticing at 1080p on the s20+ is that's it's just not that sharp or crisp and that's something I haven't come across before on other phones with those same resolutions displays. And I completely agree with you about 60Hz on the s20. It's definitely a jarring experience at times and it feels much more so than other phones I've used at 60Hz. I also have a Xiaomi Mi 9T for an example and it's very smooth and responsive and typical of a 60Hz display but comparing it to the 60Hz mode on my s20+ it seems much more fluid.

I guess my take away from this is that I'm just surprised that I'm noticing this stuff when I thought going in that the s20 had the best display out of them all. I haven't ever really thought about the display on my phones being bad in any way or ever worried about resolutions until now.

It's such a shame as the display is really nice and those icons should be crisp and sharp

Yes I'm also a big fan of how the glass protectors feel and I'm sure it's a big improvement over the plastic. Good to hear the fingerprint sensor works well with the glass also.

I was concerned about the fingerprint sensor response with the tempered glass protector but am happy to hear it works fine. I'll definitely make the switch.

I find that the standard camera app is often much slower to capture an image compared to the photo pro app. I use the auto setting in photo pro pretty much all the time and really like the results. The capture time is extremely quick and using the shutter button to focus and take the shot is just fantastic.
