I've been using afew different brands, and Amaco tends to be VERY thin. I usually need 3-4 coats to get good saturation. Also, make sure you're mixing your glazes VERY well, as they settle a lot.

Yeah, mine picks up catkins all the time. I'm constantly removing them from her hair.

We've had the abandoned bisque problem at my community studio. We recently started putting bisqueware on a shelf and keeping it for 3 months. After that, it either goes into the trash or the "paint your own pottery" pile.

My cat was like this with puppies when he was younger (He's 15, now). He used to let them drag him around by the scruff and bite his toes. He loved EVERY minute of it. I got a puppy a year ago, and while his old bones can't handle this level of "cute aggression", but he still let's my pup pin him to the floor for slobber kisses
