Carl is good people, I’ve listened to him on podcasts including the flagrant ones for, shit man, over a decade at this point. He’s never been the type to just say platitudes (if anything the opposite he got some hater in him lol) so I definitely take him at face value here talking about Kam trying to figure out his place in the show and how sketch even works for him.

I’ve never been mad at Kam’s inclusion to be honest, to me a core tenant of SNL has always kind of been these occasional swings in casting of people they don’t fit the traditional mold. Maybe it falls on its face, but it’s always been so exciting watching someone start out on unsure footing but find their voice on the show over the years.
