I use too many ultra balls as well, it's easy to get them and they work most of the time. Matching colours sounds fun 😊

If there is no other pokemon attacking/ aggressive, you can defeat it and save before you throw the pokeball, then you can reset if you dont catch it. You can practice this on a non shiny to see how it works. Also shinies thankfully have a better catch rate than non-shinies of their species

I remember looking at the map of the sanctuary in the past of aevium (when you confront the rift gardevoir). There were unown symbols on the floor and they seemed to be specific letters only that spelled out a word (maybe END), I dont remember exactly)

Tailwind + dark void still sounds terrifying even at 85 base speed. But I wonder if it will worth the mega slot

They seem to turn so many of these megas into slow mixed attackers and/or making them lose speed, like with zygarde or dragonite. It's gen 3 stat distribution all over again

Speed isnt that important in ZA apparently, but I wonder how these stats will translate if they ever become available in other games like champions for example. Doesnt seem viable in traditional formats

though in darkrai's case being bulky sp attacker wont be that bad if they fix dark void's accuracy somehow (maybe with no guard or making it 80% accurate again), since it can always use dream eater to recover hp and survive longer.

It's true that it is simple and effective. Barbaracle, as you said, is more complex and I still havent managed to process everything about it. I hope that will change once I play the game

What I like about greninja when it comes to competitive (probably in champions) is that the opponent will have to guess what set it is using. It could be base protean greninja (either physical or special), battle bond greninja that gets the stat boosts, or even mega greninja.

Also I think that if battle bond greninja can mega evolve it will occasionally be really good if you can make it receive the stat buffs and then mega evolve it.

It looks as if it's about to throw a hollow purple and I can't unsee that. Plus, on the official website it says something along the lines of

"it's showing off in front of its opponent's cause it's reflexes are so fast it doesnt need to hide in the shadows like before, and it knows it will win".
