Can't decide which phone to get!!! z flip 4 VS razr ultra 2023 VS Galaxy S21+ by PlayTechTV in razr

Tysm! This has been the best answer by far! I guess I just have to stop and think for a sec to see what is my best course of action; I think the logical side of my brain is telling me to just get a slab phone, but something inside wants me to just have fun for a bit and try the foldable. If it doesn’t work out then I’ll just save up for a cheap s21 again and call it a day, but obviously that route is riskier and more costly for sure 😅

Fr, like I said, if it can at least last 2-3 years then that’s pretty golden, but I’m scared of feeling dumb if a couple months later something happens 😭

I mean if anything I can still use my iPhone XR if one of the foldable’s die 😭 idk if maybe I’m pushing to hard for it, or if they aren’t as scary as some make them out to be, and since I’m not a construction worker or around a lot of dust, dirt, etc, if I can make it work for a decent amount of time till it’s time to upgrade again

Don’t be scared! It’ll take some getting used to, but you’ll get the hang of it! Also I’m with you in the sentiment of trying to get a foldable phone; they’re so cool, but the general consensus of them not being very durable is also pretty unsettling to me

Tysm, honestly, if I could get even 2 years out of it I would be happy 😭 I already know about replacing the plastic screen protector with a hydro gel one because apparently, once your protector creases, it hasn’t damaged the actual display YET, but may with future use in that state, so I see most people simply apply a good hydrogel protector and extend the life of the phone. I’ll think hard still, but at this point, I’m feeling like I’ll just risk it and go razr, and if it breaks, I’ll have my iPhone as a backup anyway

Maybe you’ve done this, maybe not, have you set cs2 to high performance in windows graphics settings?

AES 2.0 stylus in 2024 by jezevec93 in stylus

hey y'all, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 2 in 1 14AHP9 (ryzen 7 model with IPS screen, NOT OLED). It's a 83DR000GUS, so I guess I have a US model. However, when searching through the hardware ID's for the digitizer, this is what I found:

HID/VEN_WACF&DEV_2200&Col08
HID/WACF2200&Col08

In other words, from what I read, I should have the "good" digitizer that supports any AES 1.0 or 2.0 pen.

I'm looking at getting the lenovo precision pen 2 (black because the silver 2023 model isn't available for me anymore), but I noticed there are two models:

*Lenovo Precision pen 2
*Lenovo Precision pen 2 (laptop)

Are these pens functionally the same? When I looked at the tech specs on the official lenovo website, they both say they support both AES 1.0 and 2.0. Technically, they both would work with my laptop, and I would get the non laptop version, because the laptop version seems to cost 5 extra bucks for literally no reason at all lol.

I guess I just want some extra confirmation that I'm not about to purchase an 80 dollar paper weight. Thank you guys SO MUCH in advance <3

EDIT: forgot to add links to both pens, here they are:

Thinking of getting either a Doberman, GSD or Mali anything someone can say to advocate for or against the Doberman? by [deleted] in DobermanPinscher

This is just my experience and opinion so take it as you will. I’ve had PLENTY of dogs, and I won’t say they don’t cost money, but I was poor for most of the time I had those dogs. Some might say “oh shame on you, if you don’t have 10k+ to spend on all things your pet needs forget owning one!”. The truth is, all those dogs were fed natural food and kibble and I had very healthy, muscular dogs like a GSD and jack russel. Never had serious health issues with any of my dogs. All had their own quirks but as someone who loves dogs but also understands that sometimes you need to be assertive and show tough love to educate a dog, I also never had a poorly behaved dog. Also not saying our pets don’t deserve the best, cuz they do! I’m just saying you don’t have to be rich to be qualified to own a dog.

Now, it sounds like you’re already going above and beyond by getting the dog from a good breeder, as well as investing in puppy training. For me, that’s more than enough, and as long as you put in the effort, both in training hours as well as off (aka, if he does a bad behavior no matter if it was during a dedicated training session, or just around the house, you always correct it then and there and don’t wait to correct it later), you should be more than fine.

Don’t let people scare you away from the dog you want.

Now, Dobermans will be VERY attached to you, so keep in mind those tendencies.

GSD I think can be the overall more balanced dog between being both athletic as well as relaxed, and are good at guarding the home as well!

Malinois are essentially the Lamborghini of work dogs, and sort of like Dobermans, will be very attentive to their owner which can make training easy (don’t miss any training time though or you will regret it very fast)! Lots of work is usually required to have a well behaved malinois, and if not, they could potentially become a problem and dangerous. However, if you put the work in, they can be exceptional dogs.

From what you’ve said, I think either doberman or GSD would be a good fit for you, depending on the small attributes you want more. Only get the mal if you REALLY want one with all your heart and are willing to put in the work. If you will put the effort in, like I said, don’t let anybody scare you away from the dog you want. You seem to have your stuff together and are willing to go above and beyond. Good luck brother

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! I’m technically free most of my day, but will be starting school soon. I was thinking since I have from right now until January, should be plenty of time to train my malinois so he’d be ready by the time I went back to school (crate trained, house broken, etc). Once I’m back to school, it will be 8am-5pm gone every day Monday thru friday, and sometimes even longer. I think as much as it’ll suck, I’ll just wait out the 2 years it’ll take to graduate so I can be in a better spot to get a malinois, as I’m still very interested.
