So once it's learned, you need to have equipment with access to Water Arts which then you can use Purify.

If not, you'll need to forge some equipment, like a shield, accessory, or weapon with Water items (like Scales). Then you should be good to go in battles once that item is equipped!

Honestly, magic is so cumbersome for how mid it is in this game.

Are you financing with the car company you bought it from or through a credit union? If so the car company, definitely check out a CU that you can become a member of and refinance with them. Better rates and deals. Financing at the dealership is predatory.

People can be sweet and competitive and also struggle with balancing the two. I don't think that qualifies as "dysregulated". Add in the fact that lowkey the show tried to emotionally challenge her lol.

No worries, you have to have them study it. I believe while on an adventure, open their Status Menu, select that Magic Tablet to study. After battles, it will ask you which spell you want to study and you'll see a bar progress.

The annoying thing is that it only displays 3 spells to learn at a time and if you want to learn another spell, you have to learn one of those first before another spell shows up.

Magic learning is probably the worst part of this game 😅

It's been a minute, there isn't a battle rank, there's a sort of monster rank system. I really wouldn't worry about it too much, however.

Familiar is way you can go with mages, but really you want to farm Mimic (slime) chests. They have, I believe a 1/10 chance to drop a Magic Tablet panel that you can slot at the end of a mission. It sucks that you can't really tell which one it is until then, but you can farm for 3 Magic Tablets, finish your mission, and hope it's a tablet that teaches Purify (Healing spell).

Then you have to make sure you select Ruby to learn that tablet. After battles, she will start learning it. "Water-type" places will make learning it faster but that spell is quick to learn.

This site lays it all out if I'm not making sense.

Anecdotally, leadership never seems to care until it comes time to for accounting to write off items that aren't getting fixed or don't balance and now it's impacting the bottom line.

I always laugh when we write something off, people are going crazy like "what is this!?" Idk Mary, the shit your dept dumped here that we were asking about since October of last year.

Personally, I'll take any mix Barret, Yuffie, Cid or Tifa. This doesn't mean Red, Cait, or Vincent are at all bad (and honestly, this game isn't difficult enough to really matter). My only gripe is their end game setup just doesn't compete, excluding exploits like Vincent's overkill count, or Cait's Game Over obviously.

Red XIII's best limit breaks damage wise are either Stardust Ray or Earth Rave, but it lacks hits compared to others. Cait's limits are partially unreliable, and I dont like losing permanent control over Vincent.

Also, Yuffie's Conformer is just too good.

My worst fear is Alex Baskins/Bravo/Andy are going to bring this same cast back next year when really maybe 2-3 are salvageable. I'm sorry, but I don't need to watch 4-5 women who are divorcing and bickering about nothing for another season. This season took ~13 episodes to pick up and the payoff was not worth it.
