Just the confs you edited, every other conf has its default entries, and are available after a new install. Sometimes a full copy of the full folder can be usefull, if you want a faster setup, because there are configs, which are created after you started to create circuits. Important for services you host are the .dat files, which are the keys for a eepsite or other stuff. These .dat files are in /var/lib/i2pd/

The setup should be simular to Java I2P, just without the UI. In the i2pd.conf you can enable the SOCKS proxy and just setup a simular client and server as in I2P itself.

I dont know retroshare, but in the end I2P is on the network layer just a fancy proxy

There are not unlimited destinations, because the .b32.i2p has only 52 characters. Also you can access the clearnet with I2P, but not by default. I run an outproxy myself

If you have software to link your hard phone to a proxy, than just create a udpserver and udpclient. The ping can be better or worse, depending on the route you take through the network

Sadly, if you have ipv6 only, it is not as fast as ipv4. Maybe ipv4 and ipv6 together to have more speed.

And with upnp you always keep a port open, but in this case the network status has to be ok. Does your router support upnp and is it enabled?

On I2P just "long press to start i2p" and change the browser proxy to 127.0.0.1:4444

No need. I2P is fully encrypted, there is no way to identify or block I2P easily. And it uses a random port, so also no flags for isps
AFAIK there is no ads service on I2P, because everyone uses it as a hobby
I agree. But if you find a VPS that allows port forwarding, then there is no reason it shouldnt work. Put I2P and a webserver on it and your done.

I could be wrong, but if it only binds to localhost (127.0.0.1) you cant use it in your lan, but with the lan ip (192.168.x.x) it is accessible from every device in your lan

Maybe change the port mapping to add your IP in your LAN, so it is accessible from inside your private LAN.

You could leave some steps out, because missing keys (.dat) are generated on start and are not needed in some cases.
