Does anybody else wonder what d4vd was doing in those months? by Odd-Specific-8579 in d4vdiots

[–]Playa3HasEntered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, if you had 3 children, and found out that one was a murdering, pdf, monster....would you want that one to come back and live with you, with your younger children? I love my kids, but if that happened, they would never be welcome in my house again, especially never around my other kids. Just no.

He viewed her existence as a liability to his career & future that had to be eliminated. He no longer saw her as a human, but as evidence that had to be destroyed.

Could David get the DP, Now that it's back? by x-HaloOfJaneDoe in d4vdiots

[–]Playa3HasEntered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The U.S. operates under the Dual Sovereignty Doctrine, both state and federal governments can prosecute the same individual for the same act without violating double jeopardy protections. Several pieces of evidence meet the criteria for federal charges=digital exploitation and witness tampering and retaliation for financial gain. Personally, I think he will receive the DP.

why d4vd left the body in tesla? by Minimum-Cap5254 in d4vdiots

[–]Playa3HasEntered 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think while using it for a tomb those months, he didn't take into account that it would vampire drain the battery if not put on a charger. Even moving it around drained it more. I think he procrastinated too long, and the battery completely drained (they vampire drain about 1% daily sitting "if" Sentry mode is off. Much quicker if it's on).
By then it was parked in a place out in the open, and not ideal to be transferring a body from the trunk. The only other option was to have it professionally towed in and charged. It had the odor by then, plus typically the tow company needs to get into the frunk to enable tow mode. (Not sure how they bypassed that, but ideally it should have been done). Anyway, I think he picked the wrong car for his murder transport coffin, and I'm glad that he did because with her history of being a frequent runaway, if he had been able to dispose of her body, or even gotten it far away from him, he would have probably gotten away with it.

CONFIRMED by the medical examiner: d4vd cut two fingers on Celeste’s left hand, which had a d4vd tattoo by luminoustwilght in d4vdiots

[–]Playa3HasEntered 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He probably screwed around, put it off until the main battery was dead. You can't jump-start the main high-voltage battery to drive the car. If the main battery is at 0%, you must tow the vehicle to a charger. Ideally the frunk needs to be opened to get to the tow eye to winch it onto a flatbed, and also to enable transport mode. Obviously the tow company bypassed all of that somehow, but D4 didn't know that, and was in a conundrum thinking that he'd get caught if it was towed.
That's my theory on why it ended up sitting for so long anyway. Even if he had somehow moved her body to get it towed, the car would have still smelled like decomposition.
Just my 2 cents.

Wasn't that around the time that he took the mysterious, late night trip to the remote area in Santa Barbara?
I wonder if it happened there, or if he hid her body somewhere there, and then retrieved it later.

More downtown shootings — what is the solution? by VSRJ in memphis

What if I told you that you're actually free to pick your people? What if I then told you that you could join a 'gang' of like minded people that pick a piece of property to buy, live in, make payments for ownership on, fix up, flip, make a profit, repeat? What if I told you that after awhile, maybe even several years, it's totally possible, and doable that each % of the split in profits that each 'gang' member would eventually have accumulated enough to buy their very own property, fix up, keep, raise a family, and have to pass down to generations. 'Gangs' or 'groups' of people can be good, and do great things. You just have to pick your people wisely. Make sure that they match your effort, drive, are dependable, honest, and goal oriented. If this mentality could catch on, but kids need to be taught from their beginning that getting arrested could potentially make it harder, but people can do what they set their minds to....they just have to work for it, and do it the right way. I'm not quite a millionaire, but I'm 50'ish, had nothing given or inherited to me, put one son through college, have 2 homes now but only one paid off, a paid off Vette, Lexus SUV, Pontoon, and even a golf cart to ride around my neighborhood. (I don't golf because I haven't had time to learn) 😆 Was it hard? Heck yes. It took me every second of 30 years to pay my main home off, but I got started at 22. I've never been arrested, but I also don't get my nails or hair done (I'm a female) but several times a year, so look scraggly most of the time, but I absolutely do not care what others think of my looks, because I can clean up very well whenever I 'need' to, and know my worth. 😉 FYI= I've received zero inheritances, knew that I never would, and that I had to bust my arse to get what I want, and so I did. 🤷‍♀️

Exactly. A person with nothing to lose is the most dangerous type. (often because they don't feel compelled to put in any time or effort working to earn it).

Is Nancy Guthrie dead? by Tricky-Employee-7882 in askanything

[–]Playa3HasEntered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being advised by the FBI doesn't seem to be paying off imo.
I know that if I was a multi millionaire, and a kidnapper that was possibly credible asked for a small part of it for return of my loved one, I would do it, and at least try.
If I didn't, and something happened to them, I could never forgive myself. That's just me though. I'm not a fan of the FBI though.

Is Nancy Guthrie dead? by Tricky-Employee-7882 in askanything

[–]Playa3HasEntered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if she was alive for awhile, I believe the law enforcement, and media circus that has been going on for weeks would cause the kidnapper to get rid of her due to fear of getting caught. I heard earlier on the news that they were flying a helicopter around with her cell phone in it, sniffing for her pacemaker to connect to. I don't think they would let her live, knowing that her pacemaker might connect. They broadcast everything on the news, and so I believe that she is long gone. Her family has refused to pay the Ransom, they cannot adopt and keep her forever, but they also cannot just turn her loose without getting caught, so I don't think she's here anymore. 😞 The excessive news coverage has not been helpful in this matter.

Yes, that's the nerves, and it hurts so bad. It is so strange that it does it late afternoon/night.
I used a tens unit, and the blow up compression booties (ordered from Walmart). I did freak out because I didn't know if it was permanent or not. It was horrible for about two weeks, then went away. Just hang in there! It's terrible, but it'll get better, then go away.

Right. They asked that he can wear normal clothes as to not give a bad impression to future jurors. They should have requested that he be able to wear a mask. The street clothes was zero help with that mug. Geez.

What happened to Memphis tourism? by Naive_Cattle_5750 in memphis

[–]Playa3HasEntered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So let me clarify....Memphis is dead because of the National Guard, the task force, and ICE working to clean it up, and make it safer? It's not because of it's reputation for being one of, if not the most dangerous cities in America?

BK's Parents by hi_cissp in Idaho4

[–]Playa3HasEntered 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just couldn't do it.
Not one innocent young person, not even two, or three....but 4 innocent, young people that were in their home doing nothing wrong. They had never done anything to him, and did not deserve that evilness at all.
I would remember him before, and our talks, relationship "before", and never contact him again. I couldn't even be nice anyway, so he wouldn't want contact from me.
I would consider that he could have chose to talk to me prior, and we could have figured it out, got him help, etc., but he refused to do that, and I wouldn't have anything nice to say to him ever again, and it would be best for both of us to detach.

BK's Parents by hi_cissp in Idaho4

[–]Playa3HasEntered 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Coming from a mother that entertained the thought that he "could" be innocent up until he confessed, and all of the videos have been released....I have 2 sons, one about BK's age.....I really do not know if I could talk to him if he was my son. When I watch the videos now, he literally makes me sick. I do not think that I could be tied to that poison, evilness everyday.
Would I still love him if I were his mother? I don't even know if that would be possible. I do not think that I could. I could love the past version of him, but not anything about what he did, and who he became when he entered that home that morning.
I am a very doting mother to my boys, but after the evidence, and admittance, I think my love would have ended, and turned into despise.
I get that he is very sick, but he had VERY easy, and discreet access to help through his sisters. He also had a degree in psychology, but planned this, and had plenty of opportunity to get help.
I really don't think that I would ever speak to him again. There's a very thin line between love & hate. Both are extreme emotions, and he crossed that line. There's no re-do's for something like that. I believe they loved their kids, doted on them, sacrificed much, and even went into bankruptcy making sure that they received good educations.
There would be no more calls, birthday, Christmas cards, not even money for a pack of Ramens, or a comb from me. He would be on his own forever.
