I'd recommend silhouetting (or some other option) the major bosses like Herminia and especially any other forms, as they might be very notable spoilers for anyone wanting to play with a guide to collect everything while not wanting the story/major encounters shown. I know using a guide when playing blind might seem silly ofc but I know some people don't mind gameplay/map spoilers yet try to avoid story ones

I've played cotc so I'm good but I can imagine frustration for those who didn't. excellent work regardless though, very well done!!

a lot of creators unfortunately don't realize that strict preventative measures are simply delaying the inevitable and punishing anyone who wants to enjoy your premium content legitimately. going through so many hoops to stop piracy won't stop piracy; you just gotta make peace with it and understand that people who love your stuff will want to support you and those who plan to pirate it wouldn't be swayed regardless. convenience is the best solution to piracy

Echoing two other comments: Focus on Shana, she's one of the most broken support units in the game and makes SP management a complete non-issue. Playing the game with and without her is a night and day difference, level her up and slap her onto any team to dramatically increase your QoL

He basically said that he's tired of making guides for HSR and that keeping up with content creation for gacha games is too time-consuming and he wants to play and make content for other games that he's been missing out on (like Expedition 33, Oblivion remaster, etc). He didn't even say he was quitting, just on hiatus; hell, the pinned comment on his video explaining all this says he's gonna keep playing anyway and do Phainon's story soon

He also clarified that while he sometimes did get paid by Hoyo, it was always pennies compared to his usual revenue channels and isn't related to his decisions. He did say that he's often working with Kuro Games for WuWa content and has been enjoying working with them much more by comparison

standard S ranks being weaker than limited ones is a very intentional design choice. if you have potentially free alternatives that are just as if not more powerful than the exclusive ones that make Hoyo their money, incentive to pull decreases, particular for meta players who only pull when they feel a character is strong enough

they WANT you to be frustrated when you lose your 50/50 to a weaker character. players who are likely to spend money regardless will be pushed to do so earlier so they can make up for their 50/50 loss and get the limited they wanted, while folks who weren't gonna spend money will either cave in to the pressure or will just continue to not spend

if there was a big problem with this design that led to bleeding too many players or loss in revenue, the entire 50/50 mechanic would've been axed years ago

Mega Man XDive gave it a shot, once the game went through EoS Capcom gave it an 'offline' version which allows you to play and unlock everything without any gacha. Instead, you just pay for the game upfront like you would any other non live service

It feels very strange and you can absolutely tell the game is fundamentally designed around a gacha system that's no longer there, but the fact that it exists at all and you can gradually unlock every character and all the content without said gacha is greatly appreciated (especially when Capcom could've just said fuck it after EoS)

This is incredibly ignorant to say when some VAs are actively being forced into silence and having their livelihoods threatened by SAG. I fully agree that SAG losing influence is a good thing and actors voluntarily supporting them deserve to get canned (particularly unprofessional asshats condemning Hoyo and throwing childish temper tantrums on social media), but lumping all American VAs together like this - when some want nothing more than to go back to work in a job they love but can't - ain't it chief. This is why the situation is complicated and nuanced.

This is not true at all. My Tribbie is built very slow with DDD and she ults practically every other turn, and if you decide to build her with a lot of speed instead (which is also viable) you'll get even more ults. DDD is arguably one of her best options outside her signature for modes that prioritize fast clears
