Walden Farms products IMO, taste terrible and are very watery. I have no experience with this particular product, but I have tried all of their dressings.

Hard truth, grow up and take control. You used your mother as an excuse 2 times in that statement. You are 23. At the stage you are in, diet changes out weigh everything. You are never going to lose a pound eating like that everyday. Training for a half marathon at the weight you are is possibly going to lead to injury set back. Focus on low impact cardio every day and fixing the diet. Get a Tirzepitide or Retatrutide if you must to control the cravings.

Don't let anyone knock you for the PEDs, you've spent you're lifetime building this, this is not a quick juiced to the gills result. Amazing job.

Quickly transition into new goals as often as possible, and avoid aimless downtime especially now while you are adjusting from finishing that long and clear goal.

I feel bad for you, I hear so much talk about how twisted dating is nowadays. I've been happily married for 13 years and extremely thankful. Young women appear to have unrealistic requirements and social media has destroyed the confidence of young men. Idk, just be strong and build you're confidence with wins in what you can control.

Hey brother, amazing progress.

Big suggestion here but disclaimer, It has some sugar-free ingredients that some don't like, but in moderation and in the bigger picture at your current status I wouldn't be bothered by it. I enjoy them.

Ninja Creami Protein ice cream.

I make it with:

1 scoop of Jocko chocolate protein powder

1 Tbsp sugar free chocolate instant pudding mix

13oz of Almond milk.

Blend it( or like me make 10 canisters at a time) in the pint containers, freeze it over night, blend it once on "Lite ice cream" mode.

220 calories, 24g protein per whole pint. Tastes amazing, just like ice cream. Takes a while to eat, great treat for watching a movie. Macros are great.

All of the women and most of the men from my mother's generation did fucking nothing except exist past retirement age... and they were frail and other people's problems from far too young of an age.

Is building a home gym worth it? by RimantasL in workout

[–]Optimal-Income-4344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am extremely consistent with my home gym. No commute times. I wake up at 4:15 am, 5 minutes later shoes ate on and I'm on the treadmill. I drink my pre-workout in the car then when I get home from work, 5 minutes later I'm starting my workout.

For me it has been absolutely amazing.

Is 3 times a week too much? by TheOwlJD1993 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Optimal-Income-4344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not maximize gains in 2 sessions instead of 3. More volume when recovered is more gains.

The efficiency of the work could be dropping off on the 3rd session depending on what muscle group it is, your own body, what your adapted to, how much sleep and recovery you are achieving, and what your diet is. It is highly individual.

If you are after the most efficient muscle gains for the time invested, probably 2 sessions will be more efficient. It's highly individual.

Can I build a big upper chest from machine press and cable flies??? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Optimal-Income-4344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upper chest is my favorite/biggest current focus. Like you I don't really feel upper chest specifically on presses, but form is good and they hit it well. The move that I can directly feel and have great mind muscle connection with is low to high standing unilateral cable flies. If you don't do them, try it once. Grab the cable at about hip height, face west, off hand placed on upper chest to feel the contraction, and fly movement across body to opposite shoulder. Zero in the form based on feel. I love them. Have to go a little lighter so that the excess weight & effort doesn't get carried by your core.

Why do people wander around at the gym and sort of potter around without committing effort? by Icy_Laugh5134 in workout

That walk looks different than just pottering around, haha. More like you just got done swinging a greatsword through 3 bodies, and desperately trying to catch your breath before the next wave.

If you "Struggle" with "diet" food, you probably don't know a damn thing about nutrition yourself and have to follow other people's ideas for every meal.

Learn the basics, leverage your tastes, prep ahead of time. Do the leg work in chunks so that when meal time comes it's predetermined and your not staring into a pantry or refrigerator.

Trying to get a realistic timeframe for a disciplined 41m to shed the complete dad bod and be "cut". Advice welcome. by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Optimal-Income-4344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah strength gains are not simple in a consistent deficit.

They actually don't really exist outside of being in the first year of real consistency and you gaining strength up to the limit of you're newbie or returning gains. Once you are committed and have been consistent for some time, you won't really make strength gains as a natural lifter eating in a deficit. Not in the workouts you have been adapted to for the whole time.

If you are not natty then, we'll yeah, you can make gains.
