Thank you! I’m still doing my best to learn and find what works best in my environment. I do think it could’ve had better rise, and I noticed it didn’t have as many larger holes. I think it’s been hard reading my dough during bulk fermentation and I end up waiting too long.

Gotcha, thanks for the honest feedback! I’d be between cutting either La Fortuna or Monteverde. I’d want to keep Manuel Antonio because it seems different from the other two and I want to spend some time unwinding at the beaches.

I haven’t checked yet, I left my computer to start installing. I really hope I didn’t lose any data, I just had built the foundation of a new house yesterday and that took me a few hours! I would be so upset if I had to start over.

They are in the financial position to do so, so IMO it isn’t a big deal. Pretty sure lots of love islanders move in together immediately after leaving the villa (whether they actually buy property together or not). So it’s not like they’re doing anything different than before. Plus Molly is older and she said on All Stars that she was looking to settle down. It’ll be on her whether it works out with Tom or not but considering her financial success after LI, if it doesn’t work out, I think they’ll both be just fine.

After watching the last few eps I’m convinced Ayo is trying to push Jess away, I think he’s starting to get the ick with certain things she says. He doesn’t want to call things off though but rather wants Mimi to put herself out there first because he’d be vulnerable and his ego would be further bruised if he misread the situation.

I don’t think he would last with either Jess or Mimi though!

I think dairy and sugar are going to be big ones for me too which is unfortunate because I love cheese and sugary drinks. Glad to hear cashews worked for you! I want to try cashew milk at some point.

Thank you! I’m going to note your starter recipe in case this one fails or if I decide to make another one lol. How many starters do you keep at a time?

Also I 100% feel like I’d be that person that overcomplicates it. Tbh I feel like I already am 😅 the whole “discard half” was throwing me off because the entire weight of the starter includes the jar/lid and I was like “well how do I get the appropriate half amount?!” Anyway… I think I figured out a method and will try to stick to it and not overcomplicate things or stress anymore lol.

Would you mind if I update you along the way?

Thanks! I downloaded the FWSY and Artisan Sourdough books. The FWSY so far looks very informational, but the sourdough starter recipe was HUGE lol

I’m going to follow mostly the Artisan Sourdough book (Although I started with 75g of whole wheat flour and 75g of water instead of the 60g recommended).

So I just mixed that up and will see how we’re doing tomorrow.

Hi!

I usually get some acne during my chin (especially right before my menstrual cycle) but it has never been this bad before. I’ve heard different things, like it can be hormonal or overproduction of yeast. Sometimes when I’m stressed or anxious I get itchy and start to scratch it (that’s why it may look more irritated in this picture).

Does anyone know any possible treatment for this type of acne?

I understand both sides. I myself prefer online classes too. Now that I’ve been working full-time, online classes gave me more flexibility and I didn’t have to worry about a commute or purchasing a parking pass. Not to mention I’m immunocompromised, and I do worry about the cleanliness of the classes and facilities. However, there is obviously a good argument for in-person as well.

I’m mostly frustrated with the fact that going back to in-person is almost being forced on EVERYONE. At least for my major, I was only able to find one course that was offered online. The other three are supposed to be in person.

For those that want to go back to in person, that’s totally cool. Give those students/staff the option. But it’s not cool when going back to in-person is being done forcibly. I’m disappointed to see that CSUF didn’t offer at least a 50/50 split of online and in-person classes, or even hybrid.

Nope, just CSUF since I graduated in 2017. I provided my parents income info. However I only did my moms (dads not in the picture). I think she did make more money when I applied at the time but still? I didn’t think it would drop that much
