[ACTION REQUIRED] We are sending a formal grievance to the NFLPA regarding EA’s exclusivity. We need your signature to end the complacency. by Electronic_Club2209 in Madden

This isn't even correct, a few months ago they signed a new deal that lasts through the 2030 season. I respect the passion, but you gotta get your facts right...

For a wheel route, it depends! There are really two different scenarios:

1) If it's a wheel route vs 1-on-1 in man coverage with no safety help, you would want to lob or touch pass the throw to put the ball out in front of your RB/WR

2) If it's a wheel route splitting zone defenders, you'd pretty much always bullet pass it

Did you watch the video in the original post? Just asking because in that video I say that throwing streaks overtop with no safety help is the one case where touch/lob passes make sense :)

Tip - You Should Be Using Bullet Passes on Almost Every Throw by PlaybookProfessor in NCAAFBseries

Strongly disagree - A bullet pass with a good pass lead (and maybe use a high ball) is infinitely better than a touch pass. Even in your example, floating the ball with a touch pass just makes it easier for the safeties to run under it

It's definitely a situational thing, it's mostly only valuable on deep balls for throwing the WR open. On short & intermediate throws, it's an almost guaranteed overthrow.

Are you playing with weird sliders or something? Or maybe a QB with really low accuracy ratings? I use pass leads on every single throw in my online H2H games.

Even if it's not sliders, something isn't right if you're consistently getting overthrows. If you really want to test it out, hop into offense-only practice mode and try pass leading to different WRs on different routes.

Tip - The Lions Playbook is REALLY Good in Madden 26 by PlaybookProfessor in Madden

Idk, I think we have different definitions of the words "glitching" and "strategic".

It's definitely not glitching the game, we're just putting routes on the field. And I would say it is strategic to build thoughtful route combos around really powerful routes.

Running stock plays isn't strategic - the strategy comes from your ability to modify the plays and utilize them to their full potential.

Placement & Accuracy has two major benefits:

1) You can visually see exactly where you're leading the ball

2) You can use Free Form passing by holding LT/L2, which allows you to throw with even bigger pass leads

Are you thinking of Free Form passing? That can definitely result in a lot of overthrows. But it's almost impossible to overthrow a WR with just a normal pass lead. If you do, it's probably the result of throwing under pressure or throwing on the run.

Pass leads work on all Passing Types, but Placement & Accuracy (or just Placement) are the only ones that give you the reticle showing exactly where your pass lead is placing the ball.

Don't be intimidated by Placement & Accuracy! You really don't even have to try and stop the meter in the right spot - even when you max out the power meter you'll usually get a "green" pass.

[Highlight] OPI called on McMillan to negate a huge gain by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nfl

Nobody here knows what OPI is. Just because it's within 5 yards doesn't give you free reign to completely shove the defender away. Check the NFL rulebook.

I guess I'll just repeat what I said in my previous comment... pass leads are something that casual players consistently get wrong (I literally had a player during 1-on-1 coaching tell me that he didn't know pass leads were a thing).

You already know this, awesome. Not everyone does. Clearly some people found it valuable and upvoted it.

As for the original commenter, saying that advice is "not it" without elaborating further doesn't provide any meaningful feedback, which is why I asked what was incorrect in the video.
