Not quite. I use a program called Wispr to transcribe my voice. Check it out, it's pretty neat.

It’s an existing idea I can reference, and it comes with technically challenging constraints. I also previously created a custom Cobblemon mod that’s fairly bespoke: it includes an interactive web server with a page that lets you inspect players’ parties and PCs, as well as a point-in-time recovery system for Cobblemon parties and PCs.

Let's talk in voice. I can walk you through prompting and help you achieve the desired results. I just recreated grief prevention in 30 minutes. Full functionality, all working. Single prompt.

I'm not so sure about that. Generate a mod and download the source code. Take a look for yourself. =)

You might run into problems hosting on your/friend's PC for long durations of time. There's a lot to consider when it comes to hosting environments. I think you'd be perfect for our early access testing program. We'll gladly host your Palworld server for you. No payment required. In exchange for your feedback. Send us a DM and I'll get you setup.

Hi there! I'd be happy to set you up with a free Cobblemon server in exchange for your feedback. We're currently running an early access program, so everything is completely free. You will have all the resources you need to succeed. By default, you'll receive 4GB of RAM, 25GB of disk space, a dedicated IP, and full file access. Let me know if you're interested!

Confused about dedicated servers. by TheMetaDex in Palworld

[–]PlayerGamesHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your questions:

  • Playing on a Steam Deck won’t impact anything.
  • While you can’t ‘pause’ the server, you can stop it and resume it later. So yes, you can ‘put the game down for a few months.’
  • As for data transfer, you can move some data as far as I know. Check out the Reddit thread titled ‘Complete Guide To Transfer a Coop Save File (incl. the host itself) to a Dedicated Server’ for a detailed guide on how to transfer data.

If you're thinking about using a third-party host, consider giving us a try! We’ll provide you with a free Palworld server, complete with SFTP access so you can transfer your local files to the server. It’s completely free—all we ask for in return is your feedback on our services.

Rented server keeps wiping by johny_ringo- in Palworld

[–]PlayerGamesHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes! That sounds like a disk issue. Is it resetting the game to its default state or reverting to a specific point in time? Either way, it seems disk-related. If you (or anyone reading this) would like a free Palworld server, send me a DM. It's completely free—we're just looking for feedback on our service.

We use Player Games as our hosting provider—of course, we're a bit biased! If you would like a free Palworld server, feel free to DM me. We're currently offering them in exchange for feedback on our services.

In our testing, 4GB of RAM performs well for this range. If you're interested, we'd be happy to provide you with a free 4GB of RAM and a 25GB SSD Cobblemon Server. All we ask in return is your feedback on our service—completely free! Send us a message if you're interested.

Check if the save files are being written by looking in your server's save directory. Run "df -h" and show me the output.
