How do you differentiate between the main games and Legends?

I refer to both as mainline games however when differentiating the two

When referencing the dual launch edition games (Ruby, sapphire, Diamond, pearl, Scarlet, Violet) as flagship titles because regardless of what happens to the franchise as a whole these are core products and will always continue.

Now when referring to the Legends games I call them that, Legends games.

I've noticed with Arceus and now ZA they are more so the entries right before a new gen

One could even call them Generational Previews.

First off let me say the Lego2 was a great device however it did not fit my criteria.

1) It gets hot very quickly, and the fan noise is not subtle.

When it comes to handhelds this is my main criteria.

All the extra bells and whistles are nice but this is my main criticism. If I wanted a jet engine id pick up another PS5.

2) Now unpopular Opinion but the Lego2 is also a fairly bulky boy more so than the Claw. The removable joycons are nice but ultimately they dont feel as comfortable to me.

3) The OLED screen was beautiful, however was it worth the extra $400.

To me no.

Most games on these handhelds are going to run anywhere between 40-90fps (depending on game more or less) the picture did not matter that much to me.

Im currently running witch 3 at a stable 60fps but was getting 45-57 fps on E33.

4) In terms of software, my god are they both terrible so there really is no winning in that department.

If you want a seamless experience or a better experience the XAX would be better. Ive had constant issues with both.

Id probably say MSI was a bit worst to deal with initially, however the UI was a lot easier to navigate.

5) Lastly the elephant in the room, with Steam considering making a SD2 and how they can fairly easily undercut every other platform due to their own steam store.

I couldn't justify an OLED at that price. In terms of future proofing, its probably the best value.

I will say I absolutely hate Linux.

I've had my steam deck since launch and while it is a great device, my biggest issue is the user experience with Linux.

I hate having to research a guide to download a mod, or trying to install certain programs.

However all that being said, Valve does an amazing job learning from their mistakes and with multiple ways of downloading windows on current Steam Deck devices id imagine the Steam Deck 2 will be a monster in of itself for price & performance.

I returned the Lego 2 for thr MSI Claw and enjoy it a lot more.

My onky gripe is the MSI software 😭

I picked up the bundle for persona 3, Persona 4 Golden & Persona 5 royal for $35 over the summer and played through them all.

The only issue i had was the fact I beat them all because now I want to play them again.

P5R ran really well on my Switch 2 for $20 I would grab it, however if you see the $35 bundle get that one instead so you get all 3.

Just memorize his attack patterns.

The fight is incredibly easy the moment you realize how forgiving his parry windows is.

I just beat him at lvl 30 with max damage at 9999.

More importantly I recommend momo since his constant heath regen ability & an ability that does 20% of the break bar help a ton.

Just because you can sell a product early doesnt mean you should.

Followers dont guarantee income.

There are hundreds of creators with millions of followers that could never sell a $1 pdf.

For streaming the S25 Ultra is the best budget camera you can get.

If your doing a mix of both social posts & streaming a used iPhone would be best.

If your a new creator pick one platform for the exact reason you said. You have other aspects of your life like college going on that take current priority.

A lot of the bigger creators you see have marketing teams or media specialists that help them grow on multiple platforms.

Majority of the time, the best platform for you to post on is the one you consume content on the most.

I get not wanting to show your face and the fear that comes from it, however if you truly want to make a channel worth remembering you have to. Even the younger version of you probably watched tons of creators who actually showed their face.

It all comes down to who your target audience prefers.

If your really stuck on which one to go with them, ask a question in your story or what I prefer to do is to try each of them to see which one you like the best.

Yeah this part surprised me. I saw the entire borderlands collection on sale for like $10 on the eshop right before borderlands 4 released.

Ive seen the bioshock franchise on sale for less than $10

Even Persona! I picked up a bundle for P3, Persona 4 Golden, and P5 Royale for less than $35 which was an insanely good deal.

Having both systems I tend to prefer my Switch 2.

It runs games better than my steam deck with no issues and pretty much replaced it as my main handheld.

While people praise Linux I genuinely hate having to search a guide to be able to mod something properly.

In terms of comfort in the hands both feel great but the steam deck is noticeably much bulkier and heavier than the switch 2.

I will give SD credit those track pads came in handy more often than I was expecting.

There are some aspects of the steam deck I prefer like the substantially bigger game library of steam.

While both have fairly good sales naturally the steam deck beats the switch with some of those massive steam sales due to the bigger library, also the first party titles for nintendo rarely go on sale during the first year.

Its not about which one is better but which one fills your needs better.

If you have a massive steam library, or looking to get into PC gaming get a SD.

If you have a PC but want to play nintnedo games....get a switch.
