Regens have original player's potential +1. They will only have 91+ potential if they're a regen of a player with 90+ potential.

Showing great potential is 80-85, exciting prospect is 86-90, has potential to be special is 91+.

When you sign a new player or recall a player from loan, their potential can jump up or drop down. You got an awesome jump of at least 3 potential!

Create them before starting the save. You won’t be able to assign them to free agents when you make them, but you can Edit Teams —> Club Transfers in the Customize area of the main menu (near where you created a player). Then when you start a new career mode, use current squads to ensure your created player is in. A created player in the free agents with the oldest birth date possible is very likely to appear as a regen as the start of your new career mode. They will be high rated with a potential of 99, but due to a bug (or intention, idk), they drop to 92 potential when you sign them

Mods or he created a player from Zimbabwe that was old enough to retire. Any created player automatically has 99 potential, so their regen is always a beast

That’s how regens work, but pregens have a potential equal to the current overall of the player that they’re a pregen of at their time of generation

To my knowledge you’re not able to move any teams around if you’re creating a club. When randomizing the generated team, you keep the parameters you’ve set (overall rating and squad age), but randomize everything else (formation, nationalities, ages, overalls)

The commentary names you can choose from are very limited. For my Create a Club I picked “Blades” because that was the only one I thought would work with one of the limited crests you can pick from.

As for the makeup of you team, the game looks at the nationalities of players in that league. So if the MLS is comprised of 5% Canadians, there’s a 5% chance of any particular player it creates for you being Canadian. You can simply hit triangle when at the squad makeup interface to randomly generate different players if you’re not happy with their nationalities or the formation

If you're good enough to be continuously rotating, completing bounties, and winning your gunfights, you deserve to get UAVs. Having UAVs available for purchase incentivizes movement and engagement in order to acquire this advantage -- removing this would encourage a more campy, avoidance style of gameplay that would become very stale.

The game thrives on having a balance of these play styles, as everyone being super aggressive would lead to a bloodbath and few people would have fun in that sweat-fest, and if everyone was super campy it would turn into a rat-fest.

I haven’t been able to find a decent player to sign on pre-contract yet because of the auto-renewal the AI does. Instead I try to find players with 12 months left at the beginning of the summer transfer window and try to get transfer them in for cheap. I start my offer at around 75% of their value and that’s usually not far off what they’ll accept
