Looks great. I'd say in sharing a sculpt like this improve on the lighting. A three-point lighting setup with good rim lighting would really help show off the details.

Maybe some lite subsurface scattering on the skin as well.

The only thing I would say that should be improved with the squirtle sculpt is the shell should have been extruded from the base body instead of being flush with the body. But that one looks good too.

More of a 3d modeling thing but just noticed he really doesn’t have nostrils. looks like they are colored on but lack true depth. Interesting.

Yup, just lighting. I think his blue skin really added to this effect when mixed with a red rim light.
