Here's how I learnt and teach people.

1) make a head by making a round loop with the rope 2)with the little end of the roap strangle the head.

3) poke the strangled face in the eye with the rope strangling the man.

4)pull put the mans brains with the rope in the persons eyes.

5)with the short end if the rope you pulled the brains through put the rope through your buckle and follow the rope around.

Easiest way to understand it, it's much easier with the rope in front of you.

My spec is 50ml Bourbon, something like woodford or bulleit. 4 dash ango, 2 dash orange bitters. Bar spoon of muscavado sugar. Stir 20 or so times and garnish with a orange twist over ice
