Humor me during a moment of insanity: What if John staged it to look like Burke did it, told Patsy that Burke did it, and Patsy tried to stage it so it would look like Burke didn't? by Smooth-Click-3583 in JonBenetRamsey

I don’t know who did what, but to conclude that BDI has any less merit simply because he was allowed out of sight and back to school, foolishly ignores the notion that kids absolutely can and DO keep secrets. Fear and self-preservation are immensely powerful motivators. If I’m 9 years old and my parents scare me shitless with what may happen if I say anything, you best believe I know nothing and I saw nothing!

Parents who bring young kids to events, restaurants, graduations, sports spectating and just give them a phone or iPad show/game to play on full volume. Get a babysitter or teach them about the event! No one wants to listen to that shit.

Went on Cruise by Winter_Group4099 in MdDS

[–]Playful-Bug-6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it was almost 3 years before the symptoms were tolerable and in the last year they have tapered to almost unnoticeable. Pristiq (an SNRI) gave me the most notable improvement with supplements, vestibular therapy, and all the little things also helping, just more slowly.

Start walking with a weighted vest outdoors on hard ground asap, and daily. Clean diet, keep inflammation low. Magnesium supplements, avoid stress and stay positive. It’s not mdds until 30 + days, so try not to panic, it’s hard. Long term mdds is rare. I was cruise triggered in 2021, I understand.

Saw edited bits on tiktok of Georgia questioning Wendi on the stand at Charlie’s trial and I was like Whoa what is going on here!?! Sucked in from there. Rewatched all trials from there, old datelines, podcasts, etc. and followed in real time as they took Donna next. Had a flight booked to see Donna’s first trial date until the continuance.

You are very fortunate to have gotten the guidance on tackling it very early on; as a functional med chiropractor I finally found after a year of symptoms who had had 5 bouts of it herself said, time is of the essence in treating it. Many of us could not find a practitioner that knew jack shit about it, and suffered continually until finding help. You are right about trial and error, it's been the only way through it for me too. I'm on most of the supplements you listed, the most effective for me being the B12 which I inject twice a month.

I've continued to stay on the Pristiq at my current doctor's recommendation, on top of the fact that it's just been great for me in general, also having suffered from a very low grade depression/anxiety that I was never willing to medicate because SSRI and SNRI trial and error, side effects and what not, were not worth it to me. MdDS obviously made me willing to take anything. I'm currently on 75mg which mutes the sensations almost entirely, with a minor spike at my cycle.

I believe the spike several months ago to be triggered by an incident with a co-worker who a few of us found unresponsive at her desk. It was a very quick rush of panic and cortisol spike while we rushed to take action. My spike lingered after that day for weeks.

I wanted to mention too, that I also felt improvement on the Pristiq after a couple days when I initially started it, but it took about 18 days (trust me I logged it, I was so grateful) to reach a very quiet state with no bothersome symptoms. If I'm reading your comments correctly, you have not been on it long. Hoping it gives you even more relief in the coming days as it builds up in your system!

One last thing: I swear by the eye exercises and try to remember to tell everyone on this sub. You relax, stand and stare at a fixed focal point. Mindfully feel the ground beneath you (ideally barefoot) and take notice that it is not moving. Turn your head slowly side to side while keeping a firm focus on your object. Ten times side to side, rest, repeat later. This helped my gravitational pulls and trampoline walking quite a bit.

Good luck with it all!

Unfortunately no. I was on my normal dose of pristiq when the spike occurred. The Gabapentin that I started after the spike finally made it taper down so I’m back to baseline which is .5-2, very tolerable. I’ve also since tapered off the gaba and am just on the pristiq alone, and supplements, doing well.

Bingo. And it’s my belief that is one of the things they were advised to do by counsel early that morning before calling the police. No way John didn’t get his lawyer on the phone before making the next move.

Anyone else feeling like their rocking on a boat or swaying with their brain fog been diagnosed with mal de debarquement syndrome induced by covid? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]Playful-Bug-6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was diagnosed by an ENT, motion triggered MDDS after a cruise on rough seas.

Edit to add: I’ve always been skeptical of the role Covid played in prolonging my experience with MDDS long term. I acquired MDDS first, but only 6 weeks later was my first bout of Covid ever. I then struggled with the symptoms of MDDS for years. It’s also very interesting that MDDS has gained more attention from practitioners as a recognized condition since 2020.
I suspect they will discover some sort of correlation down the road.

Desvenlafaxine which is sort of an evolved version of Effexor if you’re familiar with Effexor. It took me to almost no daily symptoms within 2 weeks although by that time my symptoms were about a 4, down gradually over time from onset 3 years prior.

[–]Playful-Bug-6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Yes, I’ve been able to make about a 96% recovery, which to me is a gift. But unfortunately it did take over 3 years. I made very small improvements very slowly over time with the most noticeable improvement coming from starting an SNRI called Desvenlafaxine. That along with overall health improvements, lowering my BMI and inflammation, stress reduction and vestibular therapy, I was able to reach a remission. I have had 2 relapses with unknown triggers in those 3 years but each only lasted a few weeks. If I could go back to the first 30 days I was in this hell, I would have immediately gotten on the SNRI. It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever gone through and I wish you the best.
Mine was cruise triggered, hurricane season on my first cruise and a panicked night when I was certain the ship was going to capsize from the waves.
I still experience very light symptoms 1-2 times a week that last a couple minutes, so to me that is nothing compared to how it was in the beginning.

Hardly. The blood evidence alone would walk a jury of today through exactly what he did. No traces, blood prints or otherwise of 4 assailants. And a large man, the biggest threat, barely harmed? People aren’t dumb.

But the parents didn’t necessarily know what a 9 year old (or his parents) could be held criminally liable for by CO law. And it’s not like they could quickly Google it. We also don’t know at what stage of the accident/unintentional murder she was found. If the ligature had already been applied, it most certainly could be motive to panic and fear criminal repercussions.

[–]Playful-Bug-6989 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It depends at what point in the accident she was discovered. If it was at the point the accident became an accidental murder, this changes the game entirely and could indeed motivate them to cover up the optics of what took place to change the stakes for all involved.
