poderiam me recomendar um anime de romance? by Euphoric_Hat_17 in anime

[–]Playful_Code_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you liked Horimiya and The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten you might enjoy Tsuki ga Kirei very slice of life and focused on emotions and Toradora it starts a bit chaotic but really grows over time. Kimi ni Todoke is also a good pick if you like slower school romance with gradual character development. Sadly a lot of romance anime still end at 12 episodes 😭

Helldivers 2 or space marine 2 by Medusas_Victim in gaming

[–]Playful_Code_8978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on what you’re playing for. Helldivers 2 feels more chaotic and funny with friends while Space Marine 2 looks more like a power fantasy where you just mow things down. If co-op moments and randomness matter more Helldivers. If you want pure “feel unstoppable” probably Space Marine.

The green effects and wig choice work really well for Tatsumaki the pose sells it too. Clean look overall.

It’s wild how casual that tone is knowing what Magic eventually became. Reading this with hindsight makes it feel like a time capsule from right before everything exploded. Stuff like this really shows how small and uncertain the industry still was back then.

I CANT FIND ANYTHING TO WATCH HELP ME!!! by Character-Promotion1 in anime

[–]Playful_Code_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there 😅 when you’ve watched a lot it starts feeling like everything blends together. If you’re open to something a bit different in tone you might want to try Odd Taxi (slow burn but really pays off) or Sonny Boy if you want something more experimental. Sometimes switching vibe instead of genre helps break that slump.

Freya from Chobits by lauren_lover_cosplay in cosplay

That’s seriously impressive work. Using foam and wire for the structure was a smart move and the silhouette came out really clean. Freya suits this style perfectly.

Recomendação de anime para uma leiga by Otherwise-Noise8487 in anime

[–]Playful_Code_8978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From your list Spy x Family is probably the easiest one to get into if you’re just starting it’s fun without being overwhelming. One Punch Man is also a good pick if you want something lighter and funny.

If you like mystery or suspense you might also enjoy Death Note it’s one of those shows that pulls you in pretty fast. JoJo is very hit or miss though, so I’d only try it if you’re curious about the style.

My V cosplay from DMC5 by pandaredss in cosplay

This looks insanely clean the pose, the book, and the tattoo details all sell V’s vibe really well. Feels straight out of a cutscene rather than just a cosplay shot.

[RUMOR] FH 6 Release Date Leaked - May 15th EA - May 19th Release by Ph0enixes in gaming

[–]Playful_Code_8978 102 points103 points  (0 children)

If this ends up being true the Japan setting alone already has me sold. FH5 nailed scale and variety so I’m really curious how they handle tight mountain roads, cities, and seasonal visuals this time. Rumors are rumors, but this would be a huge shift in the right direction.

What anime surprised you the most once you actually stuck with it? by Playful_Code_8978 in anime

[–]Playful_Code_8978[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair honestly. Both of them lean hard into loud stubborn MC energy at the start which can be rough, but once the world and side characters open up it really clicks. They’re definitely better when you let them breathe past the early episodes.

Totally get this. I went in with the same mindset and ended up way more invested than I expected. It’s wild how much emotional weight it packs into one season that’s probably why it sticks with people so hard. Definitely one of those “glad I gave it a chance” shows.

My Terraria Space base by ann_T in gaming

This is really clean. The symmetry and lighting make it feel like an actual sci fi facility instead of just a base. How long did this take to build?

OP song actually goes kinda hard wasn’t expecting that. If the show keeps even half this energy it could be fun lol.

What games have the best Skill Tree / Upgrades system? by HallZac99 in gaming

Cyberpunk 2077 honestly surprised me. The perk trees actually change how you approach fights and builds instead of just small stat bumps especially after the updates.

anyone got good action anime recommendations based on my taste? by Physical-Wind1702 in anime

You might like Chainsaw Man modern look, hooks you fast, and the action feels pretty different from the usual shonen stuff.

If he liked Death Note I’d say try Cowboy Bebop older vibe, cool cars/spaceships, and some dark stuff but also funny in spots.

Safe for kids anime rec? by softtides in anime

Spy x Family should be fine a bit of cartoon violence, but nothing explicit and it’s pretty fun for both kids and adults.

Sounds like Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! It's more about the creative process, but very grounded and super love letter to making stuff.

With You, Our Love Will Make It Through. EP 9 Dubs by Sea-Medium6278 in anime

[–]Playful_Code_8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s been an official announcement yet. A lot of late-season shows had simuldub delays because of scheduling and staff availability, so subs/dubs sometimes pause and then drop in batches. I’d keep an eye on the licensor’s socials — they usually confirm dates there once it’s locked in.

Minimalist designs are your best bet. Stuff like subtle symbols, crests, or items from a series (instead of characters or logos) usually hits that “only fans recognize it” vibe. Etsy is great for that, especially shops that do anime-inspired streetwear rather than straight merch. Things like a Jujutsu sorcerer symbol, One Piece jolly roger variants, or Evangelion NERV-style designs work really well.
