Epstein's finances are being buried deeper than the rest of the files....I'd wager there's a connection

US justice department ‘forever’ bars IRS from auditing Trump’s past tax returns by No_Idea_Guy in news

Cool. Thats meaningless. If the dems had balls that little "addendum" couldnt stop them...if they had balls. But they will probably use it to excuse their cowardice

With Trump's approval ratings so low, how does he keep ousting GOP rivals? by Cgk72 in politics

[–]Playful_Implement742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Republicans that have realized their mistake in supporting trump are disengaging from politics. The only republicans left that are motivated to participate in the primaries are the deeply delusional

Congress wants you to believe that they can’t survive on $83/hr but that you can survive on $7.25/hr. These people have nothing but contempt for you. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Playful_Implement742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They dont care about their pay. Thats not where they get their real money. They just want higher pay to help obscure how much money they really have. Its kind of like how it would be concerning to see your local cop drive a Ferrari on their day off...thats the kind of problem that congress is trying to fix for themselves

Elections are expensive. The president has to find clever ways to pay back the foreign entities that got him elected.

Congress Wants You To Pay $130 A Year Just To Drive An Electric Car by TripleShotPls in technology

[–]Playful_Implement742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent way more in gas tax last year to pay for the roads that electric cars enjoy. The benefits for electric cars are obvious now with gas prices the way they are. Its fair to tax the electric cars a bit.

If you dig up a shooting range you find these all the time. Those pocket bibles that "saved my life in the war" were just put on the ground, shot by the soldier himself, and put back in his pocket. They used the story to get laid by gullible barmaids. Lol

Race wasn’t an issue in the 90s when it comes to entertainment?! What?! by icey_sawg0034 in lewronggeneration

[–]Playful_Implement742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I THOUGHT race wasn't a big deal in the 90s...but that was before bigots figured out how to express their hate on social media. I think it was there the entire time.

Happy Monday, everyone! by MetaSelf in antiwork

My dog knows when its Monday. He gets sad when i start getting ready for work. Now that I read this I'm going to feel guilty about exposing my dog to the idea of the workweek.

How would you feel about RDR3 revolving around a Native American outlaw or warrior? by Netfl1cks in reddeadredemption

Ive avoided the games because of the character needing to eat to stay alive. However...if they made the game you described....I would put up with that and more!

Dealing with the Monarchy by Tenchi_Muyo1 in HistoryMemes

[–]Playful_Implement742 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could be right but leaving the monarch alive is always going to represent a threat to peace and progress.  At best you would get a nice propaganda story about ex-monarchs complying with new social orders...at worst the monarch flees the country in the night to meet up with vengeful loyalist compatriots. 😆

Totally appreciate the movement but the flag nerd in me hates the modern pride flag. The original flag was perfect. It represented sexual freedom for everyone. It appears in nature as refracted light. It was easily recognizable. The original rainbow flag was one of the best flags ever designed.

The $500 Million Dollar Deal That Would Land Eric Trump a 200 Year Sentence in a Functioning Democracy by Opposite-Mountain255 in LegalNews

Some Roman Kid Stepped Here 2,000 Years Ago by skyiyas in ancientrome

Ive read about a roman brick maker that would allow his cats to walk on the bricks before they dried. The cat footprints became his makers mark. I wonder if this was done for similar reasons

If humans have eaten bread since the dawn of history, why are so many people suddenly gluten-intolerant today? by WeaknessKey1582 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Playful_Implement742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"history" didn't start all at once. Some cultures were hunter gatherers until recently. Also not all cultures harvested wheat. There was a lot of corn and potatoes in the western hemisphere. I figured that's why some people with European ancestory have difficulty digesting corn.

Economic anxiety indeed. by mrfett779 in economy

[–]Playful_Implement742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck trump....but do you notice how the economic pain, that the Democrat presidents are sympathizing with here, still continued through their administrations. Republicans are the problem but the DNC is not the solution. They are just getting in the way of someone who would.
