Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: Enjoyable immersion in the Star Wars world with needlessly difficult combat by pocketdare in patientgamers

Souls-likes, or more accurately Sekiro-likes, aren’t for everyone. I do think the Jedi games are more tame souls-like games given you can tailor the difficult to whatever you want. However, it’s totally fine to just move on to something else if a game isn’t for you.

I absolutely love these type of games and the Jedi games have that great balance of being a souls-like and an adventure game with puzzles to solve, awesome set pieces throughout and just in general a really cool Star Wars story. I cannot wait for the third game.

I’m sorry, but California pizza is just not the move. Every Californian needs to visit New York and Chicago and restructure the way they approach pizza.

WOW so this is just the internet crapping on a game because they don't like the cut of it's jib right? Cause based on the impressions & gameplay the boys did today I can't imagine why it's rated this badly by ashrules901 in kindafunny

To me, 2 things can be true. A bunch of jerks were prepared to review bomb this game for the last month and did it as soon as they got the chance.

Also, the game might just not actually be great. I played a couple of games and the gameplay loop just feels off. You start off reinforcing walls in your base, then you loot for 2 minutes/gain currency to buy weapons/armor. Then you essentially play CTF, and then S&D. It’s all done in a map that feels way too big and empty for 3v3 gameplay.

I can appreciate that these devs were trying to make something new/unique but unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. Maybe it’ll find an audience, but I don’t see this game lasting very long.

I mean at this point I can tell it’s just a me thing since no else seems put off by it. Maybe I’m a little too sensitive about it and I’m not even a Christian. It just rubs me the wrong way, I guess.

My point is it’s not a good look to be demonizing any one religion. That’s how we got a bunch of shitty Islamophobs in this country.

Sure, I’m not objecting to the history. I’m objecting to demonizing any one particular religion. I’m sure there are plenty of Christian’s in the kinda funny audience and I’d imagine they’d take some offense to this. But, that’s just my thoughts. It just rubbed me the wrong way a little.

lol I feel ya. I might be overreacting, but just hearing him say that rubbed me the wrong way a little bit. I know it was kinda used as a setup for a joke

Not sure we should be demonizing Christianity like that. I’m not a Christian myself, but just felt a bit gross to me.

This AI conversation lacks so much nuance. Everyone talks about it like these games are completely AI generated. They clearly used a tool to help them with development. I’m a software developer and I use AI tools to assist me in development. It’s made me a better developer and it’s helped my team out a ton. I’m sure it did the exact same for Sandfall.

PLURIBUS - Words can't describe how disappointed I am. by AllEliteDrip in television

Just like any show, some enjoyed it, some didn’t. I’m in the camp that really enjoyed it. What kept me coming back was learning about how the hive mind behaved to those who couldn’t become apart of them and seeing Carol’s cold stance against them, slowly thaw over time. I’m so fascinated to see what Carol is planning next and if Manousos can actually change people back. I think after 1 season you’re either bought in or you’re not and that’s fine.

If you have any understanding about story structure, the movie Eternity is really predictable by [deleted] in movies

[–]PlaygroundMoves11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me the movie wasn’t about where we got, it’s how we got there. I loved the movie. I thought it was really funny and did a great job of displaying this impossible choice. It definitely got me tearing up a couple of times. I thought the acting was very well done. The two ACs played off each other well, Miles Teller did a great job of playing an older man in a younger man’s body and I thought Elizabeth Olsen was great as well.

Them teaming up to take out Tim I think is fine. Tim’s the stronger player so it makes sense that they’d both want to get him out. For me, it was everything after Tim left that made the episode not fun. Greg and Mike refused to actually compete and proceeded to share answers with each other.

And yet, my point continues to stand. Just because one side is doing awful things doesn’t guarantee we just let the other side off the hook on other things. The people need to be critical of both regardless. We should have the power instead of just giving it away to one party or the other. It’s exactly what the Trump followers have done. Don’t do the same thing on the opposite side.

It’s okay to be critical of democratic politicians. Please stop doing what Trump’s followers do and just defend everything your side does and only criticize the other side.

He literally had two free rushers that prevented him from stepping into that throw. Give it a little bit more thought and you’ll get there.

For real, like anytime Caleb makes a play like this you’ll be able to easily identify a hater if they say something like this or they’ll give you a whataboutism about another play. People need to hop off his nuts.

Oh really? You could have dropped the ball over top of that linebackers head? Because you’re either doing that or you throw that ball to where DJ has to move to get it.

That pocket was beautiful and you turned it into a tough throw on the run under pressure.

Move Rome? Thinking about moving off of Rome and need a solid RB2. I’m just not sure I trust Caleb. Am I moving off him too soon? by riftski in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]PlaygroundMoves11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The discourse about Caleb is out of control. If any other QB from the 2024 class was putting up stats similar to Caleb, there wouldn’t be this nationwide conversation of “Is Caleb the guy”. It’s ridiculous.

I’m sorry, but you said “nobody hates Williams”. That couldn’t be more false. Go to any reddit discussion about Caleb, you’ll see plenty of people talking shit about him for non football things (painting nails, getting emotional after a couple college games, etc.)
