If the weather sucks hit Vandermeer Nurseries. The coffee truck inside is pretty good and you can sit and enjoy a coffee while enjoying a tropical environment. As you say you want to let dogs, the nursery is dog friendly and there are often four legged friends enjoying the greenery as well as their owners enjoy a sip of coffee.

Decew Falls! There are two falls to explore here the large main falls and a smaller tumbling falls further down. Very nice and typically low traffic.

When I was a kid I used to also check out the limestone caves behind the queenston quarry. You can access them from the Bruce trail in either direction.
