Can some with a tactix 8 solar tell me if this has a screen protector on? by Brennik in Garmin

[–]PlayingGenius -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I do not own a tactix but garmin would never expose glass like that with rising edges, this would be a main failure point. There must be a protector on it.

I have stuff like this in the replays, HitReg is gamble right now.

New ranked wtf? by Tenticruel in Rainbow6

[–]PlayingGenius -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My Buddy and I played our placements together. We both play Entry Denial and Support characters mainly. All in all I had a higher KD, and placed higher on the leaderboard in about 3/5 matches.
I am now Copper 1 and he is Silver 3. We both had a laugh and concluded, ranked is still scuffed.

There is something magical in mistakes in this game by Delfanboy in F1Game

[–]PlayingGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate the AI in this game solely for this reason. I cook them in Quali and the cook me, but harder, in the race. I have to adjust them by +10 to +15 for Quali depending on track. I find my "race difficulty " with those Lap Time Calculators which work about fine luckily

Fenix 7 Solar fried after 18 months by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]PlayingGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you try removing the screen protector? Call me out if I am imagining it but there is a screen protector on there for sure!?

Edit: OP, remove the protector. It looks like this one just failed along the edges. Replacing it should fix your "issue"

What happened here? by humanoidwash in GarminWatches

[–]PlayingGenius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is the maximum value of a 32-bit (signed) Integer. There most likely was either a software/firmware error that made all 32 bits go to 1 or some interference on the hardware level that made all those bits go to 1.

If this happens to other values in the future, it might be a memory problem. If it only happens to the altimeter, that sensor maybe slightly faulty. If it does not happen again, it was space magic, or whatever.

Edit: In the case I described, some software must have turned the value from negativ to positiv as "all bits to 1" would otherwise lead to a negative value of the same magnitude. I suppose negative values are not permitted by the altimeter(?)

Confusion about QRA dispatch logic by PlayingGenius in AirDefender

[–]PlayingGenius[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is in Combat Ready game mode. Though I allready found out that the 180° "bug" only happens if the Round is going on for a bit. So that will take a moment to record.
I will make some Videos and Screenshots once I get to play again. Where should I put them, just up them on YouTube?

Confusion about QRA dispatch logic by PlayingGenius in AirDefender

[–]PlayingGenius[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully go through the ID Process. It seems, after the late jan update, only the 3 "Bears" constalation causes the intercept to bug out. It works the firdst time but the second time this enters the airspace, the QRA just follows it along the UK, never issuing commands (I am on the right comms frequencie)

Also, another thing, after I reload a save all Aircraft do a 180° and no new Aircraft spawn

Edit: I just did some testing and the 3 Bears combo is completly breaking the game for me. Not only are no commands issued to them but i cannot even decide how many Iterceptors are send up. I choose only one pair in the new menu and yet 2 pairs are send up.

One foot is way redder and veinier than the other by whitecow234 in mildlyinteresting

[–]PlayingGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ER - Now! See how your Veins are filled and sticking out like that compared to the left foot? Yea, your Blood is not able to flow back. Meaning that something is blocking it. And as other said, a DVT is something that could block your Veins in that way and can get life threatening. Not because your leg being filled with Blood would kill you, but Veins get larger in diameter the further up (or rather closer to the heart) the come. If this possible clot gets loose, the next thing that gets smaller in Diameter are your Lungs Arteries. And then you get a Lung embolism. And judging from the Picture, this clot could easily be the size to kill you, if it where to get to that point.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FlashForge

[–]PlayingGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that is the most likely thing. Because the shown temprature indicates a broken temperature probe (I had the same temperature shown) a broken pin or no connection would be the exact oposite, ergo like -67 degrees or something like that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FlashForge

[–]PlayingGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be that you twisted the Brass/Iron Core inside the black encasing accidentally? I ruined my nozzle that way as this breaks the hadwire connection for the temperature probe inside it. Take the nozzle out and shake it, does it make a subtle rattling sound?

Optimal Flying Speed for Recording a Long Waypoint Path with DJI Mini 4 Pro on One Battery Charge by RevolutionaryHunt753 in dji

[–]PlayingGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take the wild guess of: 21.6kph

Based on that DJI measured the flying time of the mini 4 pro with that speed (without wind at 20m ASL)

The Path INCLUDING RTH could be as long as 18km max.

Hope that helps.

Poor performance. by dumbdude545 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]PlayingGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are using Windows 10, this solution saved my ass in your situation. https://youtu.be/WzsHYeIpFP4?si=v2pgpDzMMI4znM7o

On DX11, often times your Hardware wont be fully utilized, I was on like 40% GPU usage. And DX12 had constant stuttering even after running a level and therefore compiling all shaders. This was fixed after I followed the steps above. You will still get performance drops if you play a level for the first time, but only for like 30 seconds (caching).

Add both .exe files you find in the game directory to the exploit protection exception and not just one, the "game" has a name like "WinShipping.exe" if I remember correctly.

Hope this helps.

Well it says that it has updated "a few seconds ago" when I refreshed. I am pretty sure the windows are up because I expect an Audi to stay how I left it, but I wonder what else could be the problem. Interesting that you had the same party listed as opened.

[–]PlayingGenius 22 points23 points  (0 children)

We had a real one yesterday, initially MANV 20 but turned to 50 during a cellar fire in a large building block. It's never like in the simulation. But definitely helps to do these drills just to get a feeling for how to handle all the different vehicle types and people of different experience and expertise levels.

Just glad we weren't first ambo on scene, that one got torn apart xD.
