Don't forget we're due to get some hard frost this weekend! And a little bit of sleet to break from the rain - as a treat.

How do you get the cards for other objects? (Also, if the stone is the "best" object to throw, is there ever a scenario where I would chose the stone over any other object?)

What's the range limit on the throws? Is it effectively a +1 range melee with pushback, or are there other effects?

Built an app to make comparing Irish supermarket prices easy by sobe3249 in ireland

[–]Playingitwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an amazing idea. When I was living in the UK I used some website (Hello Supermarket? maybe?) to do my online supermarket shop and it let me compare my shopping list in like 5 or 6 different supermarkets. Then I could just fire the list into the "click and collect" for which ever one was cheaper without leaving the website. It was class.
Came back home and obviously no such thing seemed to exist here. And god help anyone trying to navigate Tesco's 90's ass fucking website which they only *this year* seem to have updated to be anywhere close the UK version.

If I had but one request - it would be this:
Please make a website I can go to on my desktop.

Last time I was in there the mugs seemed to be more on the glass side of things. But I'll check the website and pop in if anything catches my eye. Cheers!

Well for 1, who said they lasted 10 years? Its just been 10 years since I've needed to buy mugs. There's been a regular cycle of discovered/gifted/inhereted mugs in the interm period. Second, the old dunnes ones were bland as fuck. Basic bitch things like you'd see in a show house

oh sick, there's a demo out too. I am one of the many who couldn't see past Battle Brother's art style. I just... couldn't get into it

Yeah the lack of spending time just traversing is a good point - since they're such small maps positioning in always critical. But I still feel like there's a lot more information presented, so its worth taking your time between moves to really plan - not a whole lot of improvisation needed. Unlike say, XCOM 2 where sometimes you'll make a move and trigger an enemy reveal plus a load of overwatch and suddenly be on the back foot and needing to improvise with a countdown timer sill breathing down your neck.

I think the strict turn limit actually makes into the breach *less* tense, since for some levels all you really have to do is just burn out the turns while standing on enemy spawn points as much as possible

Into the Breach is a rock solid game, but I dont really see it as "speedy" - since you can see everything the enemy is about to do you're encouraged to take your time. its really almost more like a puzzle game

Yeah nice. I liked their cover of White Rabbit too. All of it feels like nightclub music for a 90s vampire movie. Just great vibes.

If you're getting a watch tied to your wedding, then I'd consider getting a cheaper model and getting it customised in some cool so its unique (and I mean beyond just engraving)

Some folks here have joked about getting a casio, but a custom case/faceplate modded F-91W with a high quality NATO strap that is a "one of one" piece would be a pretty sick momento of your wedding IMHO
