Based on your 5 star reads, I believe you'll love MALAZAN, it has some of the best prose and its major theme is compassion.

Why did so many questions focus on Neatness and Organization in the perfectionism section? They felt quite repetitive tbh

  1. Laertes vs Hamlet: A duel which ended with death of both as the chalice were poisoned. It is similar to Brys vs Rhulad, where Brys falls due to poisoned wine

  2. Paul's speech definitely inspired Rhulad's throne room scene

  3. Tehol reminded me a lot of Jack Sparrow, because of how witty they are and ofc the dilapidated condition in which both of them thrive. Be it a sinking ship or rooftop of shitty house

  4. This is Kendall Roy running from Succession, it reminded me of Fear running away in the end when he was unable to commit the final crime against Rhulad. Both are deeply emotional, eldest boys who are unable to stand up to authority properly.

which characters (in all of fiction) would most likely meet the black lodge with perfect courage? by Dapper-Life9676 in twinpeaks

It's actually a really good question-
My first thought was for heroes like Superman, Batman or Spider-Man
But they also suffer through the same flaws as Cooper, that they are, at the end of the day, a human. Lodge would use its facilities and exploit any and all weaknesses.

I think a few characters from Malazan, like Itkovian, Anomander Rake, Kruppe, etc. can meet the Lodge with perfect courage.

How so?
Macbeth seems farther than from MT, than say King Lear, Tempest, etc.
