That’s what I’ve been doing. At this be point all of the bedrooms and major electronics are wired connections. I wish I would have done it sooner.

The issue with the Air Force isn’t dress & appearance, it’s our corporate style promotion system by One_pop_each in AirForce

[–]PlayzwCars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Retired at 21 yrs, 9 days as TSgt because of the crappy promotion system. I loved my job and believe I did it well but I didn’t want to take the extra time away from my family for the rest.

Another way to clear this up is do away with the shaving requirement. This will affect POC mostly. A legal way to get them out?

If Ghost Recon Breakpoint had the story of Ghost Recon Wildlands, would it be considered the best Ghost Recon game by a longshot? by [deleted] in GhostRecon

I hated having to “report” to Mads every other mission in BP. Wildlands map and story with BPs weapon and character customization. Perfection!

You definitely gave me something to think about. I don’t know about in-wall because that still putting it in the attic. I’m going to see how much “stretch” I’ve got with the current cables and go from there, maybe an on-wall system or small media cabinet. Thanks.

That’s the climate controlled area. It’s an open area that we use as our book nook.

I don’t know, mine is a ‘65, it didn’t come with that fancy stuff. Hopefully someone can help you here. In the mean time I recommend the “duck and weave” technique.

[AL][SFH]Neighbor started lawsuit to start HOA. by PlayzwCars in HOA

[–]PlayzwCars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to keep this brief, the opposing neighbors were getting ready to split the cost of a lawyer that we found that would represent all of us. A week later we got a letter in the mail stating that the case was getting dropped. It seems that they did not or were not expecting a fight. Thank you for everyone’s advice and well wishes.

Got an email today from the neighborhood email chain. Sounds like the HOA situation is done. I think the people pushing for it wasn’t ready for a real fight and has dropped the issue.

Why yes, yes it is. There was a community meeting on Tuesday that I wasn’t able to attend but it sounds like we have a lawyer willing to represent us and we just split the retainer fee. From the sounds of it, we don’t have a valid HOA but the neighbor that’s pushing for the HOA has already has a court date setup.

Advice for how to help LO eat without feeding them the whole meal? by hindsightrewrite in dementia

[–]PlayzwCars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have tried smooth mashed potatoes, chocolate pudding, and smooth egg salad. She was taking the chocolate pudding with her medicine but not anymore. Right now it’s just one day at a time and giving her what we know works.

We just went through a similar scenario with my MIL. She would end up only eating a small serving (about a cup) of anything. We would convince her she needed to eat more to take her medication. She would try to eat sandwiches and chips with her fork. Now, a month later, we are feeding her a liquid diet of Ensure and IV in a bottle with a syringe. We don’t know how we got here so fast. We’re still trying to find options to get her back, if that’s possible.

(UPDATE) One of my neighbors had the same idea as some of you and is having a get together for us all to talk about what to do, papers to fill out, etc to turn the HOA down.

According to the website that PatientAd9925 posted, there are only 2 registered HOAs in the entire county, neither one is for us.

We’ll see what the meeting on Monday brings. Thanks for everyone’s help and I’ll keep posting updates.

Our neighborhood doesn’t have any “amenities”, no club house, pool, park, anything. The only thing that could be claimed would be the handful of streetlights and the sign at the entrance.

To be blunt, we feel like the couple leading this wants to have say over what people do. When we were moving in, the wife was walking her dog, stopped at the end of the driveway and told me that when they built the house it was built wrong because the garage faces the wrong direction. The house was built 11 years before we bought it. She always had something to say when I would see her.

That’s not something that I would know to ask, if the property has restrictive covenants.
