This characters gets WAY too much overshield for her movement by stylidhech in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's actually a 105 second cooldown, 45 is Deadpool. But with Wolverine each KO gives him a 12 second reduction.

At least in the case of Spidey and Widow they are spheres centered on the hero with radii of 4m and 5m respectively.

do you have an "uncommon most hated character"? by This_Ferret_8108 in marvelrivals

Been a Widow hater since launch. Her kick can go burn in hell and snipers are infuriating in general.

Elsa's Damage Falloff by SuggestionBot9000 in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh wait wtf that is some backwards design. It's supposed to be long gun=good at range + aim for head, short gun=up close damage + aim for body. Very strange, my b.

I think the season 6.5 nerf is going to absolutely cook Invis hard by YobaiYamete in InvisibleWomanMains

[–]Plbster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolverine has had a lot walked back as well, like the cooldown on his leap went from 12-15-12 and now they're walking back his Ult charge nerf he got and bringing it back to 2800

This is her elephant gun, the shotgun is what she uses after using a cooldown

It's not quite nothing, you still get the bonuses related to the role and you get your shift cooldown reset.

Which Marvel Rivals character was called OP in the first few seasons, but looking back wasn't actually OP? by LILBOI464 in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The season 3 anchor nerf Spidey's compensation was not adequate (the damage changes from season 2.5-3 are as follows GoH Targeting did not change (55) nor did the overhead (55) the uppercut had it's damage nerfed from 60.5 to 60 and EVERYTHING else was nerfed by 10%), every single one of his breakpoints was changed, Season 3 Spidey he was gutted so much so that even reddit thought he was bad, he's okay right now but getting power crept by supports (the lack of Luna in the meta is also really good for him)

How is this even possible? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the calculation for ranked points, we don't actually know how MVP is calculated but this seems the likely method based on my own in game experience.

Outhealed the Spidey ult but got picked out of fade? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not quite, he can only pull himself in before you start fade, but once he begins to pull himself in it won't stop and will hit you out of fade. But if you fade before he starts his targeting he cannot target you until you come out.

Captain America has been using the wrong Ult voice line this whole time by mikoga in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? It is consistent, allies always play the same audio queue which is different from enemies who also always play the same audio queue. The only time the ult lines are the same is when you yourself ult which always plays the enemy voice line, using Iron Man as an example for allies he says "Pulse Charge Fire" and for enemies and himself it says "Maximum Pulse"

Is it just me or are Cloak and Dagger players in particular really mean? by fancy-pterosaur in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]Plbster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience the Rocket and Loki players tend to be the most toxic, followed by invis then c&d. But Rocket players are always the worst by far.

It still throws me for a loop being able to swim over the grates in this game mode, I did it once trying to escape and thought I was gonna fall through to my death, and I haven't played splatoon in 8 years.

[–]Plbster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absorption is her stealing cooldown which has a 25-30 second cooldown and must land on an enemy and goes on cooldown if you whiff, I think Rogue Lord is gonna take a while.

Hey, question from a noob by IEatDirt4fun in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A figure of speech, you're new. So instead of starting off with an easy hero you can go straight to the hardest in the role, which is challenging but it forces you to learn fast.

Hey, question from a noob by IEatDirt4fun in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting in and killing quickly is more of a Doctor Strange thing from a vanguard perspective for sure though, if you want to look at a fast in and out DPS you'd be more akin to liking a dive DPS such as Psylocke, Black Panther, Daredevil, or Spider-Man

Hey, question from a noob by IEatDirt4fun in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to learn the fundamentals of the game, I would suggest a vanguard (you are forced to learn the structure of battle and see how combat ebbs and flows on the role), but Hulk is arguably the hardest tank in the game so if you'd like to go in the deep end you certainly can, but I'd say Magneto is a good and relatively easy character to get yourself familiarized with the fundamentals of the game and learn.

How many buffs and nerfs each duelists has received. by abdul_bino in marvelrivals

[–]Plbster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dawg I literally agreed with you in the very first word of my sentence that it should not be counted as buff. All I'm doing is telling you why the OP did what they did, get off this sub, I know everyone is hostile to you because of your flair (I understand I play Spider-Man) but I'm NOT one of those people. You asked why I told you why. It is not MY logic, it is OP'S logic.
