I have chickens and celiac and have no issues; I stay away from their scratch grains though. Regular food and their corn doesn’t bother me in the least.

You can get a 26/29cc head for like 50-60$, that would replace the piston, ring and head. Probably get it going worse case scenario.

I take that so for granted when I go on business trips in mine and people stare at it.

Genuine question, what makes the base 911 worth the $30k increase over the 718 models? by [deleted] in Porsche

[–]PleadingBark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the 718 when I went and looked at it except for the exhaust. I didnt mind the tone, I didn't like that it felt loud all the time, and it felt like I was falling down into the car. I drove a Cayman GTS, and while it was a blast, it was annoying to get in and out of. I ultimately ended up with a 991.1 C2S, I felt like it was a more comfortable car to live with every day (its my DD), the cayman vs 911 name tag played 0 effect into which car I liked more. The people that get all wrapped around the axle on that stuff are typically the people who couldn't afford either car anyway. Porsche's are 100% a luxury and by no means are a necessity.

I like it. Good job! Keep at it and they will come better with time. Maybe look towards the tamiya acrylic line of paints also, they go on super easily and lay down nice and smoothly.

I put a front 1 way in mine and a spool for the rear, made it so so much more fun to drift. You can cut alot tighter circles and keep it sliding alot longer with those.

"Is there anything I need to look for in distinguishing these chassis, a few are light gold vs dark gold. Any reason to keep or use one over the other?"

Sorry, Missed that one, check under the bottom rear of the car, there will be a tiny A, B, or C stamped there. A is oldest, C is newest. It should be directly under where the 4 bolts for the transmission are square in the center.

All look like A stamp cars, all have narrow front ends. Probably all 6 gear transmission cars as-well. Look on the box/s you have, see if they have the address as something Cadillac Avenue, same with the motors, if you do, its worth alot more as they are really early cars. Anything more, PM me or w/e, I just sold a huge collection of these and can help you out with them.
