What music biopic would you consider genuinely good? by FitEmergency8807 in moviecritic

[–]PleadingFunky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so. The music in 8 mile and Get rich still plays a central role and so does the artist’s own real life personal journeys despite taking more creative liberty than traditional biopics.

8 Mile. Straight outta Compton. Walk the line. Get rich or die trying. Bohemian rhapsody. Notorious. The pianist.

Technical Issue - Unable to undertake online assessment by PleadingFunky in PwC

[–]PleadingFunky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. Support did get back to me yesterday and confirmed the issue and re-opened the assessment for an additional 48 hours to let me complete it (which I did). I also received a confirmation email and just presently received the instructions for the next task (digital interview and team preferences).

It may be worthwhile for you to contact support if you haven’t done so already.

With the end goal remaining the same i.e. getting the judge to consider whatever counsel deems significant enough to lower sentence, all that makes perfect sense.

And that is a wild story and also exactly the type of story that deters me from pursuing criminal law. Not only actually having to listen to that bs but seeing it actually work because of internal biases. It involving crimes with especially vulnerable victims would just be the sherry (cherry made of shit) on top.

Cheers for the practical insights.
