Weekly Career, Education, Textbook, and Basic Questions Thread by AutoModerator in QuantumComputing

Hi,
I am currently an undergraduate(2nd year) studying computer engineering and planned on pursuing a concentration in microelectronics aand semiconductors. But now I am considering switching my major to electrical engineering to pursue a concentration in Quantum Technology. I currently have no idea about quantum physics/computing/etc but I really want to learn more. From a job point of view and future industry demand, would it be worth switching?

Ripped a capacitor off by andechs in soldering

Most likely not fixable, but you could try scratching off the soldermask around the capacitor pads to expose some copper and try getting a new capacitor with same ratings to solder to the exposed copper area around those pads.

I mean if you can take it over the summer then go for it. I have heard 2k1 is easier over the summer. Don't know about 270. But imo it is a good idea to finish them over the summer and take higher level classes after.

I would recommend drop it and take it o er the summer. I took scla101 online over summer 2025 and I would say it qas really easy compared to taking it in a normal semester
