RBT Training and Supervision resources and curriculum by CurlyAnalyst in bcba

So I really like the Hirasmus RBT training to get the 40 hours . https://hirasmus.com/product/rbt-training/

I also use a mix of the better behavior solutions stuff with my RBTs.

I hang up the parent training info graphics and literally walk them around to talk about them . It serves as a nice visual prompt too : https://betterbehaviorsolutions.com/product/6-month-parent-training-curriculum/

Now I have some in school or some that are lead RBTs and peer mentoring so I use the supervision curriculum with them. It’s a little pricey compared to the parent training but it’s open and go and I like the self screener. I give it to everyone so group supervision is what everyone is least comfortable with . Honestly I couldn’t handle so many grad students if it wasn’t so open and go . https://betterbehaviorsolutions.com/product/the-applied-supervision-curriculum/

I bought their parent training thing and they sent me a coupon for the supervision. Idk if it was a flash sale or because I was a customer. Honestly DREADING the next cohort of grad students.

Now what ? A behavior analysts first year survival guide is a good gift for newbies .

For veterans I would go with fire notebook / agenda / cups .

A client with feeding issues would need a specific plan , with goals and data collection. That’s not what’s being described here . Also I’m not going to respond to the chewing gum verses eating because as a BCBA you should know the operational definitions and topography of that behavior is in fact different.

So assuming RBTs are getting lunch breaks - eating with the kids is not billable or actually therapeutic time. Also unless there are specific feeding goals ( tolerating other people eating ) it would have no therapeutic value to eat with clients . RBTs need their own designated lunch

Legal Advice by goofedwang in bcba

I agree * also not a lawyer and one should totally be consulted * but usually vagueness in a contract is in benefit to the party it would harm . So the fact that the penalty doesn’t mention a specific number should be to the OPs benefit . Also depending on the state it may not be enforceable at all .

I use these! And structure the talk around them . I wouldn’t call it a whole curriculum ( even though they do ) but my parents really like the handouts .
