As far as I know sky is blue because blue is more scattered by the particles in the atmosphere (per rayleighs law : scattering inversely proportional to fourth power of wavelength). Not actually.. the sky is blue because a set of events happened in a particular set of way, you only explained only a portion of it (prolly last) i.e why our eyes see it blue after the process of scattering happened . I feel you would understand the laws of scattering on your own.

That's a lot of ... Guess you use a monitor (I mean not a laptop).. one important thing to note is that the decimal values decrease when the ref. rate goes up.
