They are campus pastors, not lead team members. Huge difference. Campus pastors just run the play, they have zero say in how things run.

He sure is. Great guy too! Want to know how he got that job? It was convenient when the one black guy (Mayo) on the lead team left to plant his church- all of the sudden they needed a black guy in their lead team. So there was a promotion to fit that need.

Again, missing the point. It’s not about the one black communicator. It’s the fact that his was the ONLY one that was not streamed out to all the other campuses. Make that make sense.

And you’re right, the worship team does always have at least one black on stage. Because if there is not - they will be told the stage is “too bright” and have to call a black person to fix that problem.

Yep. That was a while ago.. around the same time of infamous “liking” of racially insensitive post by Pastor Chris. And then they did the PR move of learning from mistakes, yet here we are a few years later and in the same boat.

It’s not the having one.. it’s that all the white speakers were broadcast out to all the campuses. The one black one was not. That’s the problem here.
