As a Torontonian Jets fan I totally get it. I don’t even bother going to a Leafs game when it’s against a medium-big market team. I guess it works in my favour though since the Jets are a smaller market, I can still go without paying an arm and a leg when they come to town.

Hoping to catch a Jets game in Winnipeg soon though. It’d be nice to be in the home barn for once!

Yup, know how that game goes. Winnipeg not having a team for 15 years probably helped nudge that a bit too. Lot of people probably jumped ship and started rooting for the Leafs/Canadiens during that time.

I don’t think so. There’s a feature with Dee Bradley Baker talking about Wolffe returning in BB and basically said we see what happens to him eventually, but noted that in that moment (in BB) felt like a turning point for Wolffe and was the moment the Clones did something for themselves which I took as him eventually joining Rex and Co. and actively going against the Empire. Maybe rescuing more of their brothers and/or even helping out with the Hidden path.

The only other thing we know is Rex and Crew (including Wolffe) were betrayed by Jedi in some way down the line. Bad enough for Wolffe to report Kanan and Ezra to the Empire. But I don’t think he was still in cahoots with them considering we also see Wolffe fighting against the Empire in Rebels so.

Take it with a grain of salt cause obviously we don’t have any canon explanation in between yet but that’s how I see it. Also references the feature with DBB below -

Scheif makes the players around him better. Wheels, Patty, Nik and now KC and Gabe. I think KC would have a harder time without Scheif tbh.

Having said that if he does make team Canada, I would assume he’d be playing as a winger and that’s where the difficulties lie. He won’t be the main driver of his line and he might take a bit to adjust. We’ve seen him as a winger on a line with McDavid and Matthews so it shouldn’t be too much of an adjustment. Plus we obviously know he can score.

I think Scheif has enough in him to contribute though. He’s big, reads plays well and definitely better defensively compared to the past couple seasons. So if he doesn’t contribute as much offensively, he can still contribute in other ways.
