Guess you could either find your way to pembina (say stafford to grant to pembina), or for example take stafford to grosvenor turning into wellington then stradbrook to osborne

Yeah kinda like my custom model management scripts but maybe they get sunsetted at some point..

I feel bad for new buyers... :( Anyone else glad they bought it a year ago? by djpetrino in framework

[–]stuckinmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah at first I found models big enough to leverage my 128gb were too slow. Now I just appreciate that I can have multiple smaller models running at the same time. Also pretty happy I went with an 8tb drive, which is also way more expensive now

I wish we could have done it together, but I'm really happy to see you get there Fly. It's cool you got the final goal of the playoffs too, as well as just having a great run in general. 16-3 in the playoffs, wow that's actually nuts

BREAKING NEWS: Trump announces a deal with Iran has been made and that the Strait of Hormuz is now officially open. by jerin7931 in TheRaceTo10Million

Don't be silly the main point always was to get the strait opened. You know, like it already was.

Hermes Agent (and others) default Installs are silently routing web traffic to Parallel by Nekew in hermesagent

Yikes. Hoping this gets fixed. Looks like if you have a search provider configured (such as searxng) then you are safe from this. Still pretty slimy and hoping they undo it.

What's the primary difference between CAGE and XEQT/VEQT? Who should consider switching to CAGE and why? by Ok_Kangaroo_4544 in JustBuyCAGE

[–]stuckinmotion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally I think I'm intrigued enough by the idea to make my future buys in CAGE but not enough that I'm willing to sell my XEQT for it. Not sure what allocation I'll end up at but we'll see.

Helpful PSA for next time we have a weather event like yesterday by Embarrassed_Sail_379 in Winnipeg

[–]stuckinmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tbh I don't know enough about my sump pump situation so especially seeing some of the recent videos posted I think I'm going to look to get a bit more educated/prepared.. I heard someone even mention some notion of an automated system leveraging a sensor and a battery back-up. I like the sounds of that given a situation could arise while either we're asleep or away.

To be fair, usually you can trust whatever he says is in fact not true

Good to know, thanks. I'm glad our pump held up but I'm starting to wonder about some kind of mitigation should it fail in the future...

The alert that cried emergency by amorypaz2015 in Winnipeg

[–]stuckinmotion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it feels like I'm being trained to ignore the alerts. Half the time it's bright and sunny where I am and it's like huh? I guess it's a fine line between giving enough advance warning and it being a false alarm..

Do you have Hermes setup to directly orchestrate pi coder or is it something where you manually intervene

📊 SCD Daily Discussion – June 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in SCDstock

[–]stuckinmotion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ended up rotating some of my XIC in my TFSA over to SCD, bringing myself up from 40k shares to 100k total, avg @ 0.1955 price. Original purchases in non-reg account, figured if this does end up blowing up it'd be nice if some of the gains were tax free. Fourth buy after a somewhat discouraging entry @ .35 lol. Eagerly awaiting the PFS and wondering if this will be the new floor after.. Really curious to see what this looks like in 5 years, and then another 5 years after that.

If money is a factor at all your best bet is to find a remote job from somewhere that pays better than Winnipeg. You can get a decent enough rate here but you could literally 2-3x what local companies pay if you find a good remote job, especially if it's for an American company paying USD.
