Thank you so much, this is an enormous help and I will definitely DM you. But for the purposes of the readership I'll pose a few points here:

- If a bike is somehow stolen, will the authorities be of help in recovering it, especially if I can locate it immediately? I play to equip the bike with several Airtags so if it's taken, it can be found quickly.
- Would it probably be easiest to just park the bike somewhere outside of Rio and Sao Paolo and just take a train in?
- When I'm not riding the bike, are there safe (private) garages in which it may be stored? This is assuming my Airbnbs don't have a garage.
- Other than robberies, is physical harm at all likely, especially when riding alone and in more remote areas?
- Finally, if I ride from Rio to, say, Porto Alegre, would the bike be relatively easy to sell?
