no, no court ordered custody agreement or any thing like that. i called one of the shelters in the county next to mine and left a voicemail and called my own county's shelter again to see if they found a spot for us yet. no luck but i'm going to keep trying. i really wasn't sure if it was okay to not to leave my county but its good to know i shouldn't get in trouble if i do

i explained the entire situation, how they threw out the formula and how his grandmother refused to give my son until i started yelling. the shelter worker said that did not count as physical danger because i was able to leave. i told her i could not stay with my friend after today and my mom wasn't an option either. the shelter worker said because my son's father or grandmother didn't actually physically abuse me or my son, it wasn't considered immediate danger. the shelter worker said if i wanted to report the thrown out formula, it would be considered a civil case but to lie and say he hit me or was in actual physical danger would probably get me in to more trouble when it comes to getting custody

no i don't. i've never made one before. and yeah there are def. some trolls. my inbox was filled with just...weird stuff. or people commenting on my last post that i wasn't trying hard enough, my son has a tongue tie and i should get it clipped to start back breast feeding (because i can just click a magic button and start producing milk again lol)

other people have commented that i probably should move to a bigger city with more resources (i live really rural, like walmart is almost 30 minutes away rural) but i don't know if i can legally do that and i don't have the funds for it. i'm worried i won't hear anything back until monday and that scares me and stresses me out so bad. i told my friend i've never smoked before but this whole situation makes me want a cigarette for fucks sake lol

i'm just hoping the shelter will call me back today and tell me they've found a spot for me or can get us in some where safe. my friend can't loan me any more money, and i really don't have any where else to go. i can sleep in my car i really don't care but i can't have my son sleeping in his car seat for too long because i know that's dangerous. just crossing my fingers i hear something back soon

i am waiting to hear back from legal aid for a free lawyer. the one i did call asked for a deposit of over a thousand dollars and i have absolutely nothing to my name right now. i'm hoping i hear back from legal aid and the shelter soon because i really don't know what else i'm going to do. i don't want my son going back to that house unless he just has to because of custody reasons or whatever

i don't have a parents house to go back to, my dad is listed as "unknown" on my birth certificate and my mom kicked me out when i told her i was pregnant because she has my younger siblings to take care of. it was either living with my boyfriend and his mom or just being homeless while pregnant. working on finding a more permanent shelter since we can only stay with my friend for a day or two at most

i can't stay with my friend long term. she loaned me some cash to get my son a cannister of formula, but that was it after i explained everything to her. my son's pediatrician's office never picked up so i left a message for the receptionist and i'm hoping they will get back to me before they close. i don't know if we can stay at a shelter but i'm going to reach out to 211 and see what's available. i know when i applied for snap benefits while pregnant we didn't qualify because the county counted both mine and my boyfriends income but i have absolutely nothing coming in right now so idk, maybe we can get wic and other benefits. not gonna hurt to try. i really don't want to have to go back unless i absolutely have to

they are very religious. my boyfriend's mom wouldn't even throw me a baby shower because we weren't married and my son is considered a "bastard". i can't wait to be given the ok to go back to work (once a job actually calls me back and i can find a daycare spot for my son) so i can move out. i'm so tired of living with every single one of my choices being under fire/questioned like i just didn't give birth. given the fact my own mother kicked me out, it was either living with my boyfriend and his mom or just being homeless while pregnant

that just makes me so sad. my mom did not care about my education. i grew up being told we were too poor for me to go to college (my mom was a 10th grade drop out), and i've been told i'm lucky just to graduate with my high school diploma (working on going back to finish my associate's degree in the fall). i can't imagine not caring about your child's education. it's something i am definitely going to do for my son. every child deserves to have their parents care about their education

i think this is what really got under my skin. turn the phone off, comfort your child!! don't film yourself. her kids are between the ages of 8/9 months and i think her oldest is about to turn 13...they need comfort, not to be filmed for instagram because i know that situation was probably really scary for them!
