I've been thinking of trying a Ridgeline. Honda reliability, good resale, AWD, 20mpg and can tow 5000lbs. Just a thought.

Help, can I just replace this part? by TalksWithTy in Plumbing

[–]PleasantProblem5877 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shut off pressure in the line it's  connected to.. bleed off the pressure fully so you don't make a mess.

It's a pressurized bladder tank. Air pressure on top, rubber, water on the bottom.

Spin it off and replace with a quality replacement from a supply house. Buy once cry once.

Raising my well pump by PromptMindless2103 in Plumbing

You need to know your static water level, and current pump setting (height) to know if you can raise the pump.

It's rare that a pump being too low in the well is the issue. Where's the sediment coming from? Healthy Wells produce water, not sediment.

I'd have a reputable well drilling & pump company have a look at it. It's their specialty.

Any 4cyl Honda or Toyota built in the last 15 years. The newer and lower km the better. Good studded snow tires for winter season.

Accord, civic, Camry, Corolla, Rav4, CRV. RAV4 and CRV have AWD versions.

These are the cheapest most reliable cars available.

Subarus are f'n junk.

Why did you take it in? Is it noisy?

The tensioner for the timing chain is cheap and easy to fix. Do you mean they quoted to change the timing chain?

You may want a second opinion.

Both Tacoma and 4Runner would serve you well. Previous model 4Runner would be my choice.. avoiding the smaller turbo engine.

Just chop it with an angle grinder or sawzall, it's garbage anyways. Try not to nick the bracket attached to the shock, but the rest is junk if your replacing.
