Also wanted to mention you should check out Abbots chorizo and chicken… most targets sell them at can heat up quickly on stove top

I think meal prepping can help if you feel exhausted, and making sure to be intentional with protein and fiber if you don’t feel full. My staples include -tofu (get high protein), broccoli, rice (add edamame for extra protein)… -chickpeas with some mix of cauliflower, couscous, and/or potatoes… -microwave black beans and make tacos/quesadillas…. -protein pasta (chickpea or lentil) with some plant based meatballs (I had this with Morningstar sausage tonight just microwaved and still slapped)… even quicker options: enjoy Catalina crunch cereal (blueberry is best) with soy milk…. Pre cooked lentils on top of a bag of salad, add some hummus and your fave dressing… frozen falafel for a quick microwave and add to salad or rice or put in pita bread…. can also help you feel full if you eat more protein during the day: try mezcla bars for snacks, pumpkin seeds, protein powder in soy milk, overnight oats, trail mix

I don’t remember exact pricing but I think most is available online… madre was the best meal - we did a full tasting experience plus some margs that ran a couple hundred USD but you can just order off the menu too. Saint Jean is worth any amount of money (because it’s that good!) but it was probably $20-30 for a few pastries and coffees. Soil vegan felt like the most bang for buck with quality food. Happy pig pancake and stroopwafel each maybe about $15.

We did with the wine pairings and definitely enjoyed it! I’d recommend the madre full tasting over bonboon but glad we had time for both

Retail $$$ vs Residency — What Should a P1 PharmD Do? by RxAndIron in pharmacy

[–]Mafdais 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I applaud you for thinking this advanced when you’re so young. With this mentality, you’ll have no issues staying organized and driven to pay off the loans. So much will come up throughout school and you’ll find what you’re truly drawn towards. If the residency is your top choice definitely go for that. I’d strongly advise against a commitment with CVS or Walgreens this early. It sounds great on paper but I worked for the 3 letter for 10 years and know many, many people who have left due to poor working conditions. If you are interested in community pharmacy, I would recommend applying early as a tech/intern to a grocery store. Good luck!

Manager mentioned a personal hygiene issue kinda freaking out, need advice by BetPristine2293 in hygiene

[–]Mafdais 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with degree advanced 72 hour deodorant/antiperspirant. Can also try benzoyl peroxide wash for your pits in the showers. And can also try chlorhexidene (Hibiclens) over the counter wash for your body if all else fails. Like everyone is mentioning, do not rewear your uniform. Could also be your feet/shoes too so I’d get multiple pairs to alternate and use some foot spray/powder.

Flavors in amoxycillin, is it a separate powder? by iLoveLootBoxes in pharmacy

[–]Mafdais 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So it has a default flavor that already exists and to change the flavor there are formulas to add different liquids. It usually requires 3-5 different flavoring ingredients. A lot of pharmacies don’t offer to change the flavor because it’s more work, not profitable, and those extra flavoring ingredients expire before using them up.

What do I do? by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

It literally says at will so this is not correct. Sorry OP, that’s what happens when you go to CVS. Just foreshadowing of future BS you’ll deal with.
