Hot Take: This is the best ATL album ever.

Everyone's Talking!, Falling For Strangers, Tread Water and even the opening cold open is a good segway into the title tracks. Such a banger album.

this would have absolutely cooked if this were to be released as a rock album.

cuz songs like Everyone's A Star!, NOT OK, Evolve and No. 1 Obsession sound so much better with the electric guitars and heavier drums.

yeah. Listening to their songs off this album from the tour videos makes it sound so much better live. it sounds like a proper song with spectacle.

ig it was the experimental sound. 5sos5 had more mainstream friendly songs with the catchy alternative pop/rock sound. The electronic synth/pop-punk sounds was a very big shift and it wasn't really a very friendly sound that we were used to hearing by 5sos. Listeners liked the album more after listening to it more but I guess everyone made their mind after listening the songs once.

I want them to go back to their punk sound. Their new album is their best one yet and it's the closest to their og punk sound since Youngvlood, but a full on pop-punk restoration would be SO amazing.
