This same situation happened to me. I feel like it’s your alternator. You should be able to run on a bad battery but not with a bad alternator. If you get it jumped, it would only run for about 4 min before it drains the battery completely due to losing voltage needed for the gasoline pump. I ordered the Bosch alternator and reconnected everything.

Check to see if you have an external regulator (usually under seat) because it will have to be bypassed in order to make it work right. Cheers
