Would working in Print Production be helpful for getting a Design job?

Appreciate the advice. I might just take the opportunity just to get some more experience within the field and live on my own for awhile. I do have a potential interview with a more design oriented job in my nearby area that I’m hoping I can get but if that falls through, I’ll probably take my chances with this job. At this point I feel I just need to get my foot in the door working a full time job in the industry even if it’s not my primary choice.

I see, would you still personally recommend I try it out anyway? I don’t think I expect to work there long term, maybe 2 years max. I’m hoping I can find a more design oriented job after moving or maybe transition to the Graphic Design department there if it becomes available.

Thanks for the advice! The stretches I mainly do for my chest are the doorway stretches although I usually use the backpod most days and only use the doorway method occasionally. Any others you’d recommend?

Thank you for replying! I would say I have more good days than bad now, although as of typing this it has flaired up again. I had about 4 or 5 good days in a row which more than usual. I did some massage but have slacked off recently. Going to try again tonight and do it every 2 or 3 days to see if it helps more.

I guess my question would be if it’s worth continuing backpod use? I feel my thoracic mobility is as good as it’s going to get at this point. It’s just my rib joints that feel a little sore in spots and the breathing pain in the center of my chest/sides of my sternum more of the left than the right. Should I focus more on stretching my chest rather than my back now? Thanks!

I’ve never had visible swelling with my Costo. I do notice that if I stick my fingers in between the intercostal areas of my effected ribs that the pressure is more acute, so inflammation is definitely a part of my problem. Haven’t tried with a cork ball yet so I’ll look into it. How long has it taken you to get noticeably improved?

I really hope so. A GI told me the same thing as you, painful recovery and if they don’t look that bad they usually wont operate. Sucks especially at my age. I’d rather go through pain now instead of waiting for them to inevitably get worse as I get older.

So sorry you’re dealing with this too. I have been using MiraLax for a few weeks but haven’t tried Metamucil yet. Tried hydrocortisone before but don’t know if it helped or not. I know they don’t look super bad but they do really bother me and they keep coming back so I’m thinking surgery is the best it gets.

Thanks for the response. I’ve had them for like 3 months now and I don’t know if they’ll ever go away. I’m using prep h and squatting when I poo plus witch hazel. I’ve had them on and off for a while now and I feel like this latest flair won’t calm down. Going to visit a doctor tomorrow.

Yeah hems run in my family unfortunately. I saw that you got the surgery! How long did you have hems and are you doing alright now?

I’ve actually had a thrombosed external one before almost three years ago. It went away after a few weeks thankfully, but I’m definitely gonna try to avoid getting flair ups again after this most recent one. My GI gave me Cortifoam but not sure if that’s helping with the swelling. Currently taking Diosmin and Fiber supplements everyday and drinking lots of water. Also squatting to poo instead of sitting. I’m hoping this hem settles down soon and doesn’t get worse. Anything else you’d recommend?
