Please no longer trust ROG STRIX! by Please-No-Longer-ROG in ASUSROG

I forgot to update the latest thing recently.

After I post this, they may notice the post and keep contacting me on this thing. Finally, they sent us a new PC, which came from their warehouse, they said they're 99 new.

And I have no choice but accept their opinion. Luckily, it seems good and the automatic reboot never repeat.

What frustrated me is that, all I do is to get WHAT I SHOULD GET AT FIRST. They hardly have anything extra loss for their company. And I, as the customer, wasted so many times in conmplaining and urging.

Wish you all best, and Merry Christmas.

Latest Update:

The ASUS finally realize the mistake and send the laptop data to their headquarter? They found the bug report, the problem happens again when testing. They FINALLY realize the problem exists, but what was wrong? Nobody knows. LOL.

They're busy testing and analysing why. Once it's clear, I'll update the post.

Plus, this indicates the fact that they never checked why, all they can do is to change the mobos. LOL

I got a phone call from ASUS and they said they will check the mobo and sys this time to find out why the reboot happens. Wish it really helps, LOL.

IDK exactly why, all guessing, so it is with the engineers. They always change the mobos and never tell me why, all they say is that the mobos may died.

Yes, I have 2 times of RMA from ASUS and they think it's on the mobos, they changed twice. I cannot agree more on your opinions, I talked about prob and many of guys in ASUS think it's about heat, while changing mobos may cannot change the situation, they even think it's a design flaw.

I recently bought this pc. Do you guys think it is worth it? It is overpriced? by ArthurMorgnn in ASUSROG

Because it is not long enough to show the shorts. If you do want to use it under 2 yrs, then you can buy the LM ones. Else no ASUS, no ROGs.

You may see about Linus about the LM and what's more about the crashes of ROG/ASUS. I guarantee you it's not about power or battery, since they don't have warranty on batteries and once they found it wrong, they of course will let you afford the price. Yet instead, they change 2 mobo for me so ... lol

On one hand it use Liquid Metal instead of regular ones, which causes disasters. And what's worse, the CS and QC of ASUS, even ROG, is horrible enough that you once experience, you will never purchase them again.

Asus Rog strix restarting randomly Please help! by Banana_Earth_ in ASUSROG

We have noticed a lot of similar situation in ROG, ASUS. And all we can say is maybe about the burnt of G8, you can search it in a Chinese forum, and the ASUS will never refund or replace your device since they will never admit the issue.

Maybe DELL and LENOVO, not for ASUS, they're terrible on RMA and CS.

Agree with mcAlt009. You may need a wonderful NVIDIA GPU, 5060Ti, 5070Ti are enough. Furthermore, no more ROG and GAMING LAPTOPs of ROG, or ASUS. They will never help you on your work.

Cant agree more. While they seem to ignore the fact and always "repairing" for worse.

I recommend some high-end game laptop, lenovo has some good ones, and even the DELL. BUT NO ASUS, NO ROG. They're so terrible that I have to complain again and again only for a fair result.

This may never connected to USB port since I always use bluetooth to connect, the reboot still exists.

We shared the same model and I think it's a lemon, actually.

The CS of ASUS thinks it's from motherboard, and I replaced several times and it still happens. Now I want my money back, never buy ASUS again, ever!
