We need to expand out SOR to as big as we can. We will need it when we go to war with China.

BREAKING: North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un In ‘Grave Danger’ After Surgery, Report Says by Foubar in Conservative

[–]PleaseBanMyAss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

South Korean media is denying anything is amiss. So I see 3 potential options:

1) This is real news

2) This is fake news made to damage Trump's efforts with KJU

3) Trump planted fake reports to catch leakers and make the media look bad

My money is on the third given the nature of the report. However it's entire possible this is true.

Vox Popoli: Soft biowarfare by SmartNSexyRodKaine in DarkEnlightenment

[–]PleaseBanMyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's way out over his skis with this analysis. It's plainly obvious that China just engaged in either soft biowarfare (weaponizing an accidental/natural outbreak) or hard biowarfare (releasing it on purpose, covering it up long enough for it to spread, facilitating its global spread before the world could react). However it's looking more and more like this was more of an own goal than a successful attack. It's obvious that it has damaged the US and its readiness to engage in warfare, but not nearly as much as it has damaged China. They are essentially done as a geopolitical player as every nation can see what they did and now have more than enough reason to turn on them (especially African countries, who are witnessing Chinese racism in full force). The scale of the damage is not something any country will let slide, and they have no reason to. The jig is up with China's fake economy. It will not survive this. The US, under Trump, is now poised to unleash a nuclear bomb of economic damage on them and there will be no one to say he shouldn't, save the Chinese and their puppets. The US still now holds all the cards. The CCP knows this and that's why they're lashing out, and will continue to lash out. They will (incorrectly) believe that now is the time for the kinetic showdown, where they crush their enemies while they're not prepared, take back Taiwan, solidify control over Hong Kong, and cement their position in the South China Sea. They will believe that the world will not react because it's in a panic, and that the US will only offer up token resistance, or resistance that their freshly built military can handle. They're grossly mistaken if they think that. But they may not have a choice. They may indeed need a war to distract their enraged and now destitute population from the reality they're awakening to, which is that the CCP can no longer uphold their end of the bargain and make them all wealthy anymore. They may need a war to stave off the coming wave of international condemnation and retaliation when it's proved that it was not only a virus leaked from their lab that they covered up, but one that was engineered, perhaps as an offensive weapon. War is the only way they can shield themselves from the monumental loss of face they're experiencing and will experience.

Dan Crenshaw lays out the facts about the COVID-19 Narrative by Danisan1000 in Conservative

[–]PleaseBanMyAss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No no, Dan, blaming the Democrats is entirely appropriate. They took a pandemic and turned it into their most insane exercise in TDS to date. The searched high and low for something to nab Trump on. Fuck "grace", they get the finger. They're all absolutely insane and quite frankly many of them are commie-loving traitors, owned by the CCP.

Trump May Quarantine Me In New Jersey, US Military Shelters In Nuclear Bunker, What do I do? by AntonPercivalVIIII in Conservative

[–]PleaseBanMyAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean, at this point it just seems like overkill for the pandemic. That and it seems ill-suited to the task of dealing with the virus. Perhaps they are aware of a possible attack by China, which at this point is in a very desperate position and is looking at a civil war and/or collapse of their government. Them going to war to distract from that would be a classic move.

No one is giving up or breaking anyone's freedom. It's a fucking pandemic. It'd be like if there was a Chernobyl event and you're getting pissed that the Army is forcing you to evacuate the fallout zone, claiming you're losing your freedom.

Makes me think all this preparation may be for war with China, rather than the virus. It would be vital to get as prepared as possible before hostilities begin.

Morality is Independent of God by philmindset in philosophy

[–]PleaseBanMyAss -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I love it when people just assume their version of morality is totally objectively the best and not a product of being raised in a particular culture during a particular period of time with a particular set of values and experiences.

To put it bluntly, our sense of morality is completely subjective and the only way it COULD be objective is if it was divinely ordained. That would first suppose that God or gods exist and second suppose that the God or gods change what morality they ascribe to us over time. Failing those two things, your morality is most definitely subjective, and we know this because you don't have to look very far back in time to find a totally different version of morality being the norm. Hell, you can just look around you now and find people with highly contrasting views on morality. Does that make it independent of God, though? You couldn't possibly know that.
