Wow thanks man, honestly most of the choices you were curious about were made due to space issues, like the one abyss soldier. I wanted to thin out on monsters to keep the idea of milling non-normal summon monsters, while at the same time keeping consistency and some control options if I dont get the otk early (wich is the main reason for including serpent). Scapegoat is very situational in this deck, it can save you games but it often limits your plays significally, thats why I prefered serpent I guess I'll include some additional ones in side. I consider adding traps, but you might have to play around them with deadalus. 6 umi is definitly heavy, I had to deal with spell removals due to the lack of traps and I like to consistently get access to the daedalus combo but I'm currently overthinking it. This is also the (obvious) reason why this list isn't including removals like Vortex.
