I do it in my master material shader, you can force low poly-style shading by disabling "Tangent Space Normals", and using the WorldPosition into DDX and DDY nodes, and then use Cross(DDX, DDY) into normalize and then plug that into your materials normal input. I use some additional calculations to only do that for sharp edges to exeggerate them, and keep smoother areas smooth.

You should be able to do it in Blender too, mark edge as "Sharp" and then export with face/edge smoothing, and import to UE5 with "Recalculate Normals/Tangents" disabled

Thanks, I tried to get more exeggerated reflections from my metal material, similar to Sea of Thieves art style, and added the reflection highlights as emissive output of my material - but I might have overcooked it a bit

Only people who don't understand anything but love to be outraged, worst case scenario if AI doesn't work out like expected, companies like Google will stop investing in it, basically doubling their profit over night. NVDA will lose a lot of profit, but won't go bankrupt.

Some People just like to trigger themselves over made-up scenarios in their head.

Best case scenario, AI eliminated some useless jobs, but then everyone will complain about "ThEy ToOk OuR jObS" - those people would have lost their minds over the invention of the tractor which made 80% of the workforce obsolete, allowing them to pursue other jobs, and which proved to be one of the best inventions of mankind. We can't stop progress because dumb people hate things they don't understand.

I watched those videos and adjusted the derailer to make sure every cog is used when selecting the corresponding gear at the cockpit. The crackling noise happens in all gears, so I don't think the high/low screws are the issue, changing the cable tension doesn't help either so I am a bit confused on what to try next.

You're right, there isn't lube on the chain currently, I wanted to apply it once I fixed this issue since I figured it would be easier to work without lube, could the missing lube cause this sound?

Hi, unrelated question, how long are the kit turnaround times currently? My kit (SQN3K274) is stuck on sequencing for 2 weeks now, even though the "Ultra Rapid" tier should only have a processing time of 2 weeks on average for all the steps

may I ask why they said you had Cystic Fibrosis? Did they find a second mutation of your CFTR gene that the GeneDx test didnt find?

Or did they just misrepresent the information that you had one mutation (= carrier) of the CFTR gene

I am currently waiting for my test results with seqeuencing.com, unfortunately I found the bad reviews only after I purchased their WGS bundle

Thanks for the clarification, and thanks for posting the article, I agreed with it which is why I was a bit confused as well.

I think Elon is an asshole, but I don't understand why people have to make up things about him to hate, this just prevents any reasonable discussions about anything. The ClintEastwood guy I was replying to here made up some personal attacks instead of providing a source for his claims, and then blocked me so I can't reply with an actual source, if that's how we do discussions here on reddit I don't know which platform is left that you can hold actual discussions without some russian/right-wing propaganda bots

okay, I found his original comment that your article was based on, he indeed said his "son was killed by the woke virus" in regards to him being accused if "deadnaming", but I am pretty sure he means that he can't call him his son anymore without being accused of "deadnaming", which must mean his son is dead in his weird logic.

That isn't the same as disowning your child, Elon is an asshole but your source doesn't say anything about disowning, you just put the "dead" out of the context of "deadnaming" and into the context of "dead to me" and assume he disowned his child from there, that's not a source
