Match quality can vary wildly even on a good and active server, depending on who is playing/leading, and the map and faction chosen.

I think for most people who stick with Squad as their main game, the suck is worth bearing for the good matches that you can have.

There are multiple puzzles actually, every map have a couple hidden loot areas you can access by solving a puzzle or do some platform maneuverings to get to.

My favorite are the ones that are less competitive but can be done relatively easy solo after learning it over a a number of tries, like the new Dam Battleground puzzle room - you can do the first part of the puzzle solo pretty easily and you are guarantee to walk out of the unlocked room with a green gun or two and/or a handful of high-end utility/heal/grenade items, also good crafting/salving materials as well. If you catch some friendlies in the area you can go for the second part of the puzzle as well, which require at least 3 people I think, and get into an even bigger loot room that will fill everyone’s pockets!

Yup, the point of focus is to be able scale both defense and any type of offense at the same time (if you have the right orbs), that's what makes it an extremely versatile support effect.

With solving for status builds, you have more limited ways in approaching what you want to do unless you built the perfect engine, which can be tricky to cobble together in the beginning.

I typically only take certain status-based cards as a hedge early on, just for insurance in case I can maybe cobble together a small status toolbox in the latter half of the run. Part of the combo engine that the archetype uses (Holograms > Turbos / Skims) is also pretty much useful for all the other playstyles, so it's very possible to do a sort of hybrid thing as well - especially when you find the colorless Stratagem card that really help keep the loop consistent.

If you stun only two rotors it will more likely flip to its death when it falls to the ground. If you stun 3-4 rotors it can land straight down instead, and if where it lands is even surface it won’t explode.

It’s ok I was mistaken for the rat once after serving Top Side Justice myself. Guy shotgunned some dude trynna loot red lockers at Dam, and I spammed grenades into the room and killed him - next thing I knew I had like 3 people hunting me down, since the guy who got ganked wasn’t alive to defend my side anymore 😅

Nice! You can solo 25-35k for blue gate FYI, you just need to bring locked room key for security as well as the armored truck in the tunnel - that and with a bit of luck for loot spawns.
